Ok it seems PreLynMax is not going to vote any time soon. This is exactly why I made a rule giving a time limit on inactivity. I gave him more than 48 hours because it is the first game and first round, and also the forums seem to have been down (at least for posting replies) for at least 6 hours about 10 hours ago or so.

So... the new round begins, and according to the rules PreLynMax is the only one eliminated!

Someone else can post first this time.

Would the first person to vote please remember to RESET the attacks and assists - they do not carry over from previous rounds. If we like, the Emperor PreLynMax can be removed from the standings part of each vote now.

Nobody wants to go first because the first person to play in a round is the most vulnerable. Or rather, the earlier you post, the more likely it is that you will make enemies.

lol. Ok but I really don't think it's as bad as you say. If anything, you can intentionally give the first voter some slack because they are doing the first vote. I would do that if I weren't the first voter but I vote first I can't give myself slack. Especially in the 2nd round onwards, targets should be more clear than before, and you would not be considered evil if you attack the civs who attacked you.

But anyway, I'm sort of breaking the rules here by discussing this... I'm saying because it's the first game it's a bit more educational

If you can think of a nice way to make a rule change to help the first voter, please makea suggestion. The main drawback to being the first voter is it involves the most work in editing the previous vote. Probably easiest to quote the first vote from the previous round - that would require the least changes I think.

Attacking CCRunner because he seemed to join in on the fun in attacking me :mad:

. Also he seemed to garner support for not attacking anyone - a little suspicious if you ask me! I'm still against clowing around so the Clowns cop my other attack. Since Icekommander is more likely to assist our organisation in buying the oil we have stolen from so called "demoracies", we will be assisting him in this phase of world wide conflict.

PieceOfMind, were you cheating just now? Because I noticed you added an assist for SciGuy in addition to Icekommander. Not that it's enough to attack you, but I'm watching you more closely in the future.

My bad, can you please remove that assist? You can edit your vote if you want. (EDIT nvm I see you already removed it, or Icekommander removed it when he noticed.)

The reason I accidentally left it there, of course, is that I quoted my vote from the first round and there was an assist for sciguy there. I thought I removed it but I guess not...

Also, I changed my attack target to Icekommander because I took a long time to consider who I would attack and the message I would leave, and in that time Icekommander slipped his vote in before mine. I wasn't going to attack him before, but... well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

It is impossible for me to survive the round unless one or both of Charles and Roller don't turn up, so I will vote for them in the hope that they will get despondent and go for a cry instead of voting. Mwahaha!

Also, assist CCRunner because, well, gotta assist somebody. Now my army is helping Southwestern Tajikistan beat up my army, which seems like a suitably hilarious way for an empire governed by clowns to go down. And if CCRunner himself gets beaten by his enemies, some girls, say, then my forces will be on hand to aid him. You're not getting beaten by any more girls while I'm around, CCRunner.

This is in the rules. It is calculated as attacks-assists. However if there is a tie the player with the fewest assists (ie. most attacks) is eliminated. This means you are rewarded if you survived more attacks in the round than the person you're tieing with.

Hmm yes it seems CCRunner for some reason added 2 assists to you when only 1 was meant to be added. Charles Li you can edit the post with that change if you want.
