So yeah, I should probably give an explanation. Right now I'm very busy at the moment, with college apps and senior year and whatnot going on at the same time, which cuts in my time for running anything. Also, I really didn't have any enthusiasm for this game anymore because people kept on quitting. What point is there for leading a country if you just quit three years later? Part of what makes the game so fun is the personalities that come with each country, but that's not there because at the first sign of trouble a player drops.

So, yeah, sorry about this, but I figured it would be the best option for me. Plus, I might actually be able to work on setting up an NES to be hosted at a less busy time.

Hey, I stayed in until I die. I make that a policy. I only quit if I seriously run out of time or w/e. But it's hard to run out of time for Diplomacy.

...I wonder if I should try hosting a game.

Well, it's okay. The problem of how to hold southern Germany was starting to become nigh intractable, and besides this way I can claim not to have become Niklas' pawn yet.

Edit: On the bright side, I can say that I was in contention for the solo victory, and nobody can dispute that.

Germany wouldn't be able to hold on to its southern provinces for very long either. He had spread out in too many directions.

Thanks for letting us know Supermath. Letting a game die silently is a horrible sin, pretty much like dropping out when things are going badly...
