Discovering an AI's random personality

I'd like to be able to learn what the personality of an AI is when random personality has been selected as a game option in single player.
Can I find out with the world builder or by using debug mode somehow?

Doesn't this kinda defy the point of random personalities?

I think I know how it could be done, but it wouldn't be a simple fix.

Please let us know how you would do it! Nobody seems to know how. Is it by looking up the assigned random personality in a parameter list of some pre-game generated XML file?

You are correct that it appears like a pointless exercise from one perspective. However consider a post game analysis situation where I've just finished an 85 hour marathon game against nine random personality nations.

A few AI nations were playing significantly stronger by some fluke compared to their non-random counterparts in other games I've played on a similar map.

I'm keen to learn what personalities were responsible for this. Probably industrious/financial etc but who knows?

I'd love it if you prise out the data for me!

Personalities, or traits? I didn't know that traits were randomised as well.

Good point Great Apple.
I do think that I've been confused thinking that an AI's "trait's" reflects it's personality profile. This is probably incorrect in retrospect. I'm guessing "Personality" is related to the AI's diplomatic and strategic decision algorithm's. Perhaps this is hard coded and not extractable information.
However if you have some ideas on what Random personality entails and whether it's extractable info, I'd be glad to hear. You mentioned that you might have a method.

Random Personalities means assigning the LeaderHead attributes that define his way to make Diplomacy, War and those at random.
But only the predefined Leaderheads are used.

So if for example someon completely refuses to trade its obviosly the Tokuwaga Personality. If someone decalres Crusades against you as you are of different Religion there is a good chance that the leader has gotten Isabellas Personality and so on.

The Traits are not affected as far as i know.
