Ok, here is a snippet of my Dissertation...2/7th's of it to be precise.

There will an Intro, three "essays" on BioGas,BioDiesel and BioEthanol and a Conclusion

This zip contains the Biodiesel section. - Done thanks :)

What i am asking for is proof reading help

As the current version stand the mini biodiesel conclusion is admittedly a bit weak, i am still working on this.

Futher parts will follow in the next few days.

Any crit is greatly appreciated. This has already been sent to friends, relatives and tutors to pull appart, perhaps one or who of you might aswell?

No idea what response i will get, but figured why not :)

Cheers Guys :goodjob:

How so?...................Biodiesel is the carbon trapped from the air.. so its carbon neutral when burnt..

Abaddon, do you want a proof-read version uploaded or what?

Erm, i guess so.. perhaps PM me it zipped up?

Just like to thank those who have looked at it.. BioEthanol section will be up soon!

I'll have a look if you want, is that a final draft or you just writing at the minute?

I know naff all about Zoology but I'm a Proof Reading Robot from Mars if you want me to look at it.

Carbon isn't the only thing released from internal combustion engines.

Perhaps this was the article you were referring to El Machinae?

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/04/070423080511.htm

Fairly recent, didn't read the whole thing, but I believe they take into consideration the production of the plants that are used to make the biodiesel. Nitrous oxide is released, I know that, and that is far, far, far worse than CO2 is.

If I had more time I would proof read it, but I have about 8 hours of CBT's (computer based training), 4 reports, 1 presentation and 2 tests to complete before the 18th of May. Schedule is full up.

The forefront of research is due to the apparent lack of petrol rather than the environmental benefits however.

Which is relatively unwise imo. They should focus on generating fuels that offer pros on all perspectives, not just the supply portion of it.

Make it safer for the environment in manufacturing, burning, etc, etc.

Though I will not deny it's a step in the right direction.

I was referring to the pollutants other than CO2; I agree the biodiesel should be carbon neutral. The tailpipes also spew toxins based on the fuel being burnt. We all know that (CO2 aside) diesel engines spew more noxious exhaust than gasoline. Biodiesel is cleaner then diesel, but still more noxious than gasoline. This is important for areas where there's dense vehicle use.

tankguy: what is your major?

Man, don't give us a draft, justify paragraphs, spell check and clean it up first.

I haven't read it thoroughly as to give you an opinion about the contents, but I have found two things you have to change. Indole acetic acid is better known as Auxin (and it is indole 3 acetic acid, the number is important) and you'd better check the spelling of "ginnerllic avid" I guess is acid, not avid, and nothing appears in google by the name of ginnerllic.

You should include this paper about cultivating algae for Liquid Fuel production. (It could be several times more productive than any cormophyte.

So, I give you teh best paper you can include in your dissertation, I correct some mistakes and no thanks?

And now I have to help in your GF too?

Sorry! Been busy writing the rest of my Diss! Thankyou very much, i was aware of algae potential, but that paper will help.

Is diss standing for PhD thesis?

Dissertation.

I always thought Dissertation is only a German expression and PhD thesis the english one.

btw, i finished mine two months ago :)

Cost me 3.5 years real time (but 30 years felt life time)

bioethanol section added

So, how many more words to do and how long have you got?
