Dissentions V2.0 Game Thread

The Sacred Fist seems amused by The Barbarian's remarks to the Ronin.

Do not underestimate The Ronin. After all, there was never a genius without a tincture of madness. He may surprise us all, although I hope for the Spellsword to have a swift victory.

I trust our Dreamer, therefore

I vote for Izipo, The Blood Brother to take on Sirtommygunn, the Arcane Adept

Now then, our upcoming fight should prove to be an interesting one. But who to back? The Spellsword has won for me already, but the Ronin is a fierce opponent.

Why don't we leave it in Lady Luck's hands?

*The Risk Breaker yells across the concourse at Niklas, asking who he should vote for. When he receives no answer except a room full of angry glances, the Risk-Breaker produces another coin*

Heads is Ronin, Tails is Methos.

*The coin is twirled between the Risk-Breaker's slim fingers and few times and then flipped high into the air. He catches it one handed and slams it down on the table for all to see*

It seems i'll also bet 300 Gold on The Ronin

I'd like to seize control of Team Eight.

The time is right for the strong to rise to the top.

Sirtommygunn, the Arcane Adept to fight Allysian_Feilds, The Mage Masher

I figure since I'm going to slaughter the Spell-Sword in a few hours we might as well kill a spell-slinger to even the odds out a bit.

The Planeswalker is looking exceedingly pleased with herself this morning, though it's not clear what she has to be so happy about. Maybe it was her extra-long nap last night? Or winning three or four gold pieces on Brisingamen? In any case, she looks like she's about to bounce out of her shoes. The reason for her mood becomes clear, though, when she speaks.

Oh, yay! What a fight we have coming today. One of them killed my teammate, and the other one has me on his precious little List (TM)! Tolis, can I bet against them both? Pretty please? No? Well, can they just both lose, then? I'd be happy to deliver the coup de grace on the "winner".

For the first time since the tournament began, the Planeswalker shows a hint of her talents. A slight aura, as of electricity in the air after the rain, shimmers around her and then fades away.

The Ronin chuckles to himself at such a display.

No doubt it will be the only time we get to see your 'talent' as you seem to have an unusual distaste for combat.

I suggest you watch me closely in the arena Planeswalker. You might learn something of talent then.

Tolis, the first post is far behind the present, please update it. :)

The old Lady Luck looks to be a bit annoyed, hardly bothering to hide it behind a laugh.

Let's see now, six fights so far, and a seventh ot dusk. Fourteen combatants, not necessarily unique, and nine - hah, nine! - have come from the Lucky Bastards or the Overcast Knights. Whatcha people tryin' to do, kill us all? I can understand if the Agents do, but the rest of you, are you puppets on their strings?

Haha, this bandwagon on the Blood Brother and Arcane Adept is almost amusing. But the fact that not a single person has spoken against it makes me think they are innocent, the Agents have no need to stir. Oh well, I'll stir the pot a bit, just watch me!

The old Lady suddenly seems pleased with herself again, and does a quick jig around her staff.

Planeswalker to fight Horseman - sounds much better to me, haha! There's something rotten in Ankh-Morpork, ain't that the truth!

{ OOC: Tolis, a sign of life would be nice to have... }

As usual, my teammate makes a lot of sense. Let the Horseman fight the Planeswalker.

Planeswalker vs Horseman

Hmm, suspicious stg protects the Planeswalker. This makes me suspicious of the planeswalker too...

I change my vote to Arcane Adept vs. Planeswalker.

The Illusion gets out of her tent after a rest. Yet he still appears tired, with bags under his eyes until the real one actually walks out

"Planeswalker vs Horseman. And someone get me a good strong drink."

He walks back into his tent, but a new illusion pops up that constantly is shifting expressions.
