"Ouch! Stop yelling! You are making my shadow dance! ------Horseman vs. Planeswalker, and get me some more of that raw rum: I need to go back into hiber..."

"Wake up damnit!"

"Okok! I will support Niklas cuz my own reasons, let me"

"GODDAMNIT! WAKE UP AND RP!"

"Ok ok! I'm out for the next week due to my soul (mom) baning me from my body (computer) ZZZZzzzZZZZZ...."

I'll match the Risk Breaker with 300 Gold on the Spellsword.

Now the second bandwagon seems more suspicious than the first... Let's mix it up yet more.

Arcane Adept vs. the Horseman.

And I show my support for my teammate, Methos.
200 Gold on the Spellsword

Ronin, feel the might of the Lucky Bastards

It quickly became apparent that Methos had many secrets. As he strode to the arena, he was not carrying his shield as last time, but instead held a sword in each hand, plain and unadorned. Strapped to his back was his familiar rune sword. Ronin, having recovered from his wounds stood, sake in hand, his three kanatas sheathed at his side. Patches adorned his armor, mostly coving the gaps left from the Mutant.

Both combatants strode confidently towards the arena, and as they entered, The13thRonin took a deep bow, and winked at a pretty girl, before turning to step through the portal. There was a sound of lightning and a bright flash of thunder, and the arena just appeared. A dead plane, lacking in life. Everything was seen in shades of gray. The only color were the large blue archways that dotted the landscape, seemingly randomly placed.

Methos chanted for a moment, and released his swords, but instead of falling, they seemed to hover in the air in front of him, glowing faintly. Reaching back, he unsheathed his runic blade, and prepared for battle. The Ronin pulled two blades from his sheathes, and stood ready. Both players stood, watching each other. Then it was on!

Ronin charged, and the Spellsword swung his sword at The13thRonin, sending a gout of flame at him. Ronin expertly dodged without losing any momentum. Methos swung again, and sent another wave of fire at the Ronin. Same effect. And in a moment The13thRonin had reached his target. With a quickly flurry of blows, Ronin found his strikes blocked by the floating swords, while Methos was free to aim a blow at his head. Throw himself to the ground, he could feel the passage of the Spellsword's blade just a bit above his head, and he was followed to the ground by several locks of his hair Then Ronin was forced to take a quick roll and then another to dodge the enchanted blades. Then, suddenly, both blades swung down at Ronin, and he was forced to roll forward, right onto Methos's waiting blade. Impaled through the chest, the battle was over. The arena faded, and the Spellsword gave hes blade a quick twist to ensure the job was finished, and sheathed his sword. Leaving the arena, he paused only to grasp his other swords, and strode off into the crowd.

Something is rotten in Ankh-Morpork, Lady Luck? I'm sure there is. But the smell of corruption is everywhere by now. We've had how many fights so far -- eight, nine? And not an Agent to be found. Unless I miss my guess, the upcoming contest will be no exception, no matter who wins. We are still a very long way from having any honest battles around here.

Izipo -- I think my teammates are on the right track with you, and I suspect that you are the intended beneficiary of this afternoon's little exercise. But the question is, who is manipulating whom?

Sirtommygunn, your statement of support is appreciated, but it wasn't necessary. I am not the coward that the Ronin thought I was. One day we will meet in Hell, and he will know it for the truth. But that day is not this day.

If you'll all excuse me, I need to prepare.

So, Ronin did lie when he said he was an agent. But why? Why would anyone do that? He's crazy, but he's not that crazy. The only explanation is that he was somehow being controlled. The question is, how?

*The vampyre comes out of the shadows, literally* I can explain. When the Ronin proclaimed he was an Agent, it was an attempt to save LightFang. He came to me privately, telling me he knew of Lightfang and wished to save him. It was not to be. By the shift of the vote, Lightfang had to fight and die. That is why.

Why try to save lightfang? The more he "protected" her the closer to her death he made her. If anything Ronin was trying to KILL lightfang.

The Forsaken, unbeknownst to all, had been carefully watching the patterns of ther speech throughout the competition. While some words were still beyond him at this point, he had used the form of meditation he had perfected during his crystal imprisonment to master a form of rudimentary speech in the language he decided was common to most, if not all, of the combatants.

OOC: I'm tired of not talking. :mischief:

IC: The Forsaken cleared his throat, a sound which made several combatants almost void their bowels and could possibly be mistaken for the war cry of the indigenous tribe of Ahk'Nopol. He began speaking:

"Ronin try save Laghtfung. Ronin stupid, is all. ((Disclaimer: No offense, Ronin. :D This is IC.)) Now both dead- why we care? He protect Agent, maybe. Not know who. I think Izipo- he seem too shady. We make him fight, he die, we see if is true. Or he can argue now. Long as we know."

[OOC: One last comment before I leave this thread, I will give nothing IC away. I had a lot of fun playing, I wish you all the best of luck. I also hope someone steps up and takes my place as the anti-hero. Sometimes a game such as this could use a little spice ;). No hard feelings to anyone, absolutely everything on my part was IC.]

Well done, Spellsword. I guess that clears up Ronin's innocence. Too bad it doesn't help anything. So Renata is to fight neverwonagame3? I will bet 100 gold on Renata.
