Introduction:
The year is 1794. The disorder has reached fever pitch. When Robespierre fell to the guillotine, the government completely and utterly collapsed. Rival states have formed bying for control of all France. Succeed, and you may be able to reuite France and beat back the Prussians, Austrians, and English attacking from the east and south. If you fail, France may be a conquered state.

==Note==
I am a noob, so this may be quite frustrating. I will accept for playing the first six people. This submissions must be in this format:

Name of City:
Ruler name (Must sound plausibly French):
Economic System:
Government:

Each city will start out with 20 battalions, 20,000 livres, and 20,000 people. There are 6 buildings you can build:

1. Barracks- 1,000: Can build battalions for 100 livres
2. Farm- 1,000: Can increase population by 5,000 for 100 livres
3. Town Council- 1,000: Can increase by 1000 livres by sacrficing 1000 people or 1 battalion
4. Military Base- 5,000 must have 50,000 people: Can build battalions for 50 livres
5. Factory- 5,000 must have 100,000 people and coal: Can increase livres by 1,000 by decreasing population by 500.
6. Comittee for Public Safety- 10,000 must have 100,000 people and control a large area (as determined by me) Allows 10 more battalions who win with greater probability (With even and 2 odd numbers).

Coal will randomly be placed on the map.

Conquests will be made on player's orders. The success or failure will be determined randomly by using numbers from 1 to 10 on a random number generator. (If a random number generator creates an even number, the player wins. If not, the enemy wins). The player who defeats the other players first wins.

There will be NPCs of the Allied Forces, who you may fight against.

I will update once every day.

Here is the new map (Now, with coal :)):

Good luck.

Name of City: Auch (in Gascogne)
Ruler name (Must sound plausibly French): La Comte d'Artagnan
Economic System: Decentralized/Free Market
Government: Aristocratic Council

This sounds a lot like Risk 2 (of which there was already a NES before by Symphony D.). Even with such simplicity, an update once a day sounds overly optimistic.

Name of City: Paris
Ruler name (Must sound plausibly French): Bernard Seilli
Economic System: Decentralised/Free Market
Government: Popular Democracy (which in this time would mean full male suffrage)

Name of City: Marseilles
Ruler name (Must sound plausibly French): Georges Danton
Economic System: Capitalism leaning towards socialism
Government: Democratic Republic

Didn't people use something called the assignat as currency or something during the French Revolution?

Name of City: Brest
Ruler name (Must sound plausibly French): Louis XVIII
Economic System: Mercantilist Command Economy
Government: Absolute Monarchy

Name of City: Les Sables-d'Olonne
Ruler name : Louis Pissotte
Economic System: Capitalism
Government: Monarchy
Colour: Purple

Nobody else willing to join?

So what about naval forces?

I didn't include naval forces because (as you can see) there is no England on the map and no one would need the otherwise.

It'd bring more strategy into the game. Look at Brest and Sables (right by each other). Without a navy, they'd just have to keep throwing troops at the border with the other person. With a navy, they could execute strategic sites that destroy the other person's coal supply or even capture the "capital," or they could ambush the other person's transport fleet and kill 5000 men without losing a single men of their own.

So your going to attack me?

Realistically, that wouldn't happen anyway due to British naval supremacy.

If a poster does not come in by 8:00 PM GMT (3:00 New York, 9:00 Paris, etc) tomorrow, I will begin without him/her. All the posters in the game say "I!" so I can make sure you're still in.

Eye Captim!

I'm still here.

How does one increase the number of BLP we have?

"I!"

From Marseilles
To the other regions of France, except Brest

Our enemies are trying to restore l'ancien regime and destroy the French republics! If we're divided, we will fall. However, if we unite, we can drive these bastardly royalists out of our lands and spread liberty, fraternity, and equality! The Marseilles Senate suggests that we combine our forces and smite down our enemies!

OOC:
@Abaddon: I'm assuming that your government's a constitutional monarchy ;).
@Huayna: Who gets Napoleon (Imo Paris should since that's where he was when Robespierre died)? (Dibs on him if you're just giving him to the first person that asks)

We'll see who gets Napoleon. I did not really think about that, but I'll say the one closest to Corsica (Marseilles). Also, you may join w/ 1 or 2 other cities, but the point is the defeat the other cities and the foreigners to be the sole ruler of France.
