I've always pondered why people actively have kids when they detract from ones ability to freely enjoy childless life, its the only thing on the verge of ruining my whole people being absolutly self-interested idea.. right now I'm content that its because kids do provide happiness for those who prefer not to seek happiness in other matters. Plus they usually provide support to the old folks.
