DLL - Various Mod Components

At a guess, missing <UnitPromotions_UnitCombats> entries
 
Greetings Mr whoward

am using 43 civ dll , along with leader fix dll , as well as In-game Editor , with Giant map ,,, also have Enhanced UI mod/DLC

my game version is 1.0.3.44

i tried to add your various mods V53 and am looking for Smart AI and 5 Unit per tile

whenever i enable those mod it's seem the leader fix does not work and only white blank screen comes up when i interact with non 3D leaders

is there is any fix or should i start new game with these mods enable , though i want to continue with this save

While trying to enable the mod DLL-Various Mod Component(v.53), no matter what version I try, After the "next" button, after a few seconds of processing the game crashes!
1)I have the latest version of the game.
2)All the other mods are working.
3)I tried to enable this mod alone, and it crashes.
4)I'm using a PC, windows XP sp3.
I tried to delete cache, still doesn't work.
The game itself works fine with all other mods.

I'm a newbie in debugging, so probably I'll need to be taught how to solve the problem.
Anyone?

RTFM - you can only use one mod with a replacement DLL at the same time

There was a 2.44 (in which case you need to upgrade) or a 3.144 (which is the latest)

Typically you cannot add or remove mods between saves (unless the mods have been very carefully designed to allow this, eg IGE and most "UI only" mods)

Possinly indicates that you do not have the latest version of the game. There will be a CvMiniDump.dmp file in the same directory as the main Civ5 .exe file, zip that up and attach it, it may indicate where the problem is (NOT .mdmp files - they are useless to me). If there is no CvMiniDump.dp file, the .exe is crashing while loading the dll itself - this has been noted in the past on some XP systems and unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it.

i copied the 43 dll in the 34-various mod dll folder and now it's working fine

the only thing that annoying me very much is i can't have 20 City-State with TLS , on Giant Map (Ynaemp) with 43 Civs ,,, the highest i could get were 16 City-States , since it's randomly generated ,,, is there is a way to force the game to produce 20 City State along with the 43 Civs

I have version 1.0.3.144 too.
Other mods that works are: "beyong the future", CSD (v.24/v.14 no dll), wonder race, lifetouch, and more...

I tried to enable only the DLL-various mod components, but it crashes as I stated.
I didn't find the file that you asked for... (even when added "i" to "cv")

update: I just tried again, this time I enabled the "super power" (series of 4 mods) after enabling the DLL mod.

This time I got message error: "kernel32.dll couldn't find dynamic library (something like "getcount64"). what does it mean?

No idea (it's come from direct from MS-Windows)

Don't use Ynaemp so couldn't say. The 43 civ dll supports 20 city states so it must be something in that mod, perhaps try asking in its forum, if nobody else chimes in here.
 
Sorry, but I just use the compiler/linker settings as specified by Firaxis. I don't have the time to investigate all the nuances of all the possible "this version vs that version" and "32 bit vs 64 bit" settings that are the flavours of MS-Windows.

any fix for this :(

More details needed - no popup? popup but no proposal list? proposal list but clicking does "nothing"? proposal list and clicking does "something".

Enable logging and check the lua.log file for errors (at the end, just after you've tried to make a proposal)

Etc, etc, etc.
 
It's pop up to make a proposal ,, but when i click it (or the world congress button after the congress been created) nothing comes up and i can't turn without making a proposal



also how do i enable logging ,,, am a novice at this
 
Helloooo. I am having trouble running this with Communitas, it causes the UI to fail loading, anything i can do?

EDIT: Stupidity o mine, The trouble aint wit the dll, but rather CSD, i tried following the instructions on the combined dll page, to no avail.

Not compatible with Communitas and there is nothing you can do. You can only have one DLL mod active.

Is communitas a DLL mod? I did Nay knew that, what if I want to run it with CIV4 diplomacy features? i guess the same thing... Lucky me there is the no dll version :/
 
The DLL doesn't play nicely with CEP et al due to the magic that CEP uses to enhance the Lua API.

If you want to use the DLL with CSD (v23) and/or CivIV Diplo (v10) and a couple of other smaller DLL mods, see the Combined DLL thread
