Do City-States lose bonus when converted?

So I befriended a city-state in the distant lands and got them fully friendly and decided to convert them to my empire. It was a science based city so I got the science bonus from becoming the suzerain. Now that I've taken them into my empire do I lose this added bonus since I'm no longer technically the suzerian?

I'm not sure if its a case by case scenario for each reward.

However (can't remember which city state it was) but one gave me a unique luxury that gave 10% gold and 10% science. Just to test, I absorbed that city state and still had the luxury.

Things like resources and units stay because they're not directly linked to the city-state -- the resource "appears in your capital" and if you look in the resource screen it will say that the origin is your capital rather than the city-state.

The other bonuses I don't know, and I think it would be difficult to figure out.

No you still keep the bonus and if I'm correct doing so keeps the bonus for next ages as well? However I'm not sure whether they count as a city state for the bonuses per city state you are suzerain of anymore. The information on them is quite sparse.

I believe all the Suzerain bonuses get assigned to your Civ, so they'll go away in the new Age and you don't actually need to keep the City-State alive. However, if you Incorporate or if someone defeats the City-State, that's one less Suzerainty, which might matter for some of the bonus amounts.

Just hat a game with a lot of Emporia. They are all ageless, so I still have them in Exploration age. I suppose that is the same for all other special tile improvements of city-states.
By the way, I played with Xerxes, the Achaemenid. His Leader Bonus also applies to Emporia, so he has a very nice synergy.

Unique Improvements generally lose their adjacency bonus, but some bonuses persist (I think the former may be a bug of sorts).

For example, Baray will keep the extra food on tiles, but the Step Pyramid loses the Happiness adjacency bonus.

ah ja, I see. For Emporium there is no adjacency bonus, so I haven't seen this.
