I've been wondering if my vegetable intake is about right: 2 servings a day.
 
Its impossible to tell if your eating enough vegetables with the given information. It could range from a need 0 cups to to an arbitralily high amount. In fact you could eat 2 servings of vegetables and not have enough nutrients, and eat 1 cup of vegetables and have just enough nutrients, depending on what type of vegetables you eat.

edit: Almost forgot, I eat around 3-4 servings.
 
I typically eat 3-4. I'd eat more, cause I love veggies, but they're also expensive

That doesn't answer my question. This isn't about vegetables' merits relative to other foods and other types of vegetable, this is about raw numbers of vegetable servings.

I know, in answer to this question:

I'm saying its impossible to tell, because it mainly changes from person to person, from diet to diet, and from what kind of vegetables are being intaken (there are probably a million other variables, but as far as I know those are the major).

:blush: I know, but if you vary your vegetables and get several servings per day, you should be okay. Vitamin supplements, while they don't replace vegetables, act as a safety net to make sure you don't miss anything.
 
Shoulda had a V8.

I have a glass in the morning and then a veg side for lunch and dinner. I also use fruits a lot in main course cooking.

An Irish friend of mine eats lots of vegetables beginning with the letter 'p'. lol
 
One can take 1/2 servings a day and be healthy (if it's a really huge one every second day) or take 10 tiny servings and be unhealthy. This tells nothing.
 
I generally eat them by putting them in my mouth It does work well for me. ;) To stop that possible joke answer, the thread title should say, How often do you eat your vegetables?

Generally at Lunch and Dinner is when I have veggies.
