Never peel apples, but always cut them half, and then remove the seeds, the stem at the top and the bit at the bottom with a knife. Easier to eat afterwards, you can take much bigger bites.

 good one.

It's true apple peelers are made of platinum and cost around $4000 dollars for a craply made one.

Peel on, the other way is a bit effeminate in my opinion, besides there's loads of fibre in the skin. I even eat orange peel but then I am dead hard of course;)

No, it's not billionares who peel apples. It's people with WAAAAAAAAY to much time on their hands.

My mum and my brother both peel carrots before eating them, whereas I don't. Also I see that at some restaurants they will have cucumbers peeled or partly peeled.

in some places they sell big carrots (not baby ones) without having washed them, so they have a layer of dryed sand/soil/dirt. I peel those ones, but not the baby carrots.

Man, I love babies. :ack:

people actually peel apples?
Making desserts like apple pie and crumble you need to peel the apples, so there is some need for it, but outside of desserts where you cook the apples, there really is no need for peeling them.

I peel it with a knife sometimes...very rarely. When I'm bored out of my mind.

When I'm hungry, that apples going down, peel or no peel.
