I was just reminded of a pizza delivery experience I had in Poland, in 2004.
It came with salami instead of pepperoni, and I'm pretty sure they used some sort of a ketchup mixture instead of tomato sauce.
whats wrong with salami pizza?
you call some kind of sausage pepperoni in north america, right?
the ketchup is bad indeed though.
wikipedia said:Pepperoni is a spicy Italian-American variety of salami made from cured pork.[1][2] However, Halal or Kosher Pepperoni may be made from beef. It is a descendant of the spicy salamis of Southern Italy, such as salsiccia Napoletana piccante, a spicy dry sausage from Naples or the Soppressata from Calabria. Pepperoni is a popular pizza topping in American-style pizzerias. Also, it is sometimes used to make sub sandwiches.
Dogs are eaten pretty regularly in most of Asia. In Korea its extremely common and on most eatery menus.
Yeah.. I head to the local EUropean deli place a couple times a month to get German/Hungarian/Mexican/pepper salami. It is awesome on sandwiches.
Wai- what?![]()
The first pizza I've ever seen/tried in my life had a raw egg right in the middle. I was in a German immigration camp, my family had been living in immigration camps for a year; we were taken out to a semi-fancy Italian restaurant by a relative.
I tried that pizza and it was gross - it turned me off pizza for years.
