Does the map size affect # of Civs?

Does the map size (standard, huge, etc.) affect the number of Civs that are on the map in RAND?

Does Huge have all the civs?

I also wonder this, and wonder if theres a way for us that like playing on shorter maps, that we could get all civilizations working.

I played on Huge(the size of normal RFC) and it had all the civs. I guess I'll just play huge from now on.

There is a way by slightly modifying some Python code. I have played many games on the smallest map with all civilizations on it.
