This is what happened today:

1. I got frustrated cause I couldnt get my locker open. I got up to walk away
2. The teacher assistant grabbed me by the arm... REALLY HARD
3. I yelled at her (I normally wouldn't, but think its because I banged my head), and got sent to the office.
4 The teacher assistant lied, saying I was trying to hurt myself which is why she grabbed me.
5. I get in trouble and get sent home.

Sound fair?

Yes, but the teacher assistant shouldn't have grabbed me that hard. I think I have a bruise

Sounds like you were acting immaturely; I used to go talk to the custodian when my locker wouldn't open.

If there is a bruise you can totally screw them over.

What were you doing "Getting frustrated"

Too bad you didn't respond with a kung-fu kick to the face. That woulda taught her to not grab you!

Would have made for a great laugh too. Or it might have just gotten you into more trouble. Personally, I think one of the best courses of action in most situations is to keep control of your temper. (not trying to imply that you weren't in control)

Sorry, went to bed after I posted it

I was trying to open my locker and I got up to go away

In the old days, they would have beaten you with a cane for impertinence! You'd more than "think" you had a bruise then, you'd feel many of them all over your back and legs!

Anyway, was that fair? Probably not. Welcome to Planet Earth.

When you're young, this stuff happens. Teachers and their assistants are only human and make mistakes and innocent people get screwed over most unfairly. Here's a list of every single time I ever got into "trouble" at school:
1) A young girl's brother was fighting a few other kids, the girl tried to get in the middle of it so I refused to let her go in and get herself hurt. By the time teachers came over she was crying so therefore I must have hurt her.
2) My school would make all the classes line up in the playground every morning before school and if people got bored or were just feeling dumb they'd start pushing. I didn't bother doing any of that, mostly because I was a small kid and didn't want to get crushed. One morning there was lots of pushing back and forth and I got knocked to the floor. Teaching assistants decided that they'd send the troublemakers to the headmistress's office, and I was one of them, apparently.
3) This time in grammar school, we were set some chemistry work to do, had to be handed in the next morning. I was sick in the evening and rather than hand in nothing I tried to do the work and handed in a poor piece of work. I got a detention for my troubles.

In each case it was only a minor thing, but for me to actually challenge the teachers would never have worked, simply because they will always think they're right until definitively proven wrong. If you have a bruise, at least make sure you show your parents so they don't punish you further.

I was once sent to see the headmaster because I sneezed during a lesson. I didn't think it very fair, but it was a boring lesson and I knew it all already.

Hahah...when my locker doesn't open, I smash it open and then some guy has to come along and repair it...

Ah...so many lockers I've smashed open not just mine but many other people's. Smashing lockers is fun.

I want to see someone smash one of the new lockers at my school, since the flimsy old metal lockers have been replaced by lockers with at least 1cm thick steel between each locker, and 1-2 cm thick wooden doors.

It has stopped the bending of locker doors, and started people smashing their locker doors together to make the loudest noise possible.
