You have a huge stack of people ready to invade your neighbor to the south and right before you declare war your neighbor from the north backstabs and declares war on you?

I hate it too, but I just conscript a large stack to counter theirs and use my original stack for the original plan

It is not always possible!

I hate it too, but I don't declare much wars anyway hehe.

i think i'd hate that, but not as much as if he did it after i declare on the southern neighbor.

I love punishing back stabbers. I always destroy the civs (capture all their cities) which back stab me. IE Monty, Ragnar, Joao , Alexander, Boudicca etc.

If u had that big stack ready, well the back stabber could make a nice target, a country conquered is still a country conqered.:ar15: :ar15: :ar15: :ar15:

Not really. As the agressor, my neighbor to the north would suffer the diplomatic consequences, rather than me. And since I'd have a huge stack already...

:trouble::ar15::sniper::backstab:

I hate it when I'm already at war, and then a neighbor decides to backstab me.

I hate that. Once I got three stacks of 10 located about 6 tiles away from each about to head east into Germany when the spain in the west attacked. One city was razed before i crushed the attack

do you hate losing your armor to a spearman? sure, but such things are making the game challenging and interessting

If you find that annoying, how annoying is it when you don't have a big stack ready?

I expect you'll be able to rearrange in a couple of turns, then before long you could have a sackful of gold, promoted units and maybe a vassal to take down south.
