Doto [AdvCiv ModMod]

I put the patch in manually and started a save game- whattya know it loaded..and when i researched forestry- or druidism... the game did not crash... so I think that patch is save game compatible if anyone is interested.

so I continue- its now 1190 ad and things look good other than a small continent of barbs to the south of me that must have knocked off two ai civs early game. I now have astronomy and can build galleons to send armies there. interesting units too- forest dweller.. wow. some really cool stuff and Im enjoying it alot.

dale final 1.3 is out, that means i can start working on v1.3 of overlord,

in two weeks time i finish my university exams - then im free to mod!

and this are my plans:
-enhancehte future era with techs units and buildings
-dale 1.3
-newer versions of mods i incorporated
-add inquisition
-add some requasted modcoms

so keep giving me ideas,
i sure will do my best to add them :)
 
found a text error. nothing major but it seems that
the world wonder 'Broadway' has the same 'sids tip' text as Wembley at the bottom of the text box. Broadway gives hit musicals not football events.. :P

its 1850 and no ctd's or anything-
large map/9 civs down to 7 now-the barbs killed off two of em.

next week im gonna finish my exams,
and v 1.3 of overlord2 will set off!

i plan to emphesize future era, gonna add around 5-10 tech,
units and buildings.

so i need some cool tech names and buiding suggestions...

i ran into a ctd as soon as i chose druidism for a religion, i'll try it again and post the save tomorrow.

Maybe I should learn to read first before playing a mod. :crazyeye: It works great now after I applied the patch. By the way, I play using Vista 32-bit, it works fine. (Of course you need a computor built to run Vista like mine... 2.13 pentium dual core, 4gig RAM, and Nvidea 7800SE 256gig video card).

ok, managed to compile dale 1.03,


im gonna add the following:
-Building Civic Prereqs
-Unit Civic Prereqs
-Unit_Obsolete_Tech
-xxlworld
-blitz
-JKP1187's EVENTS 1[1].08
-a reworked civics
-an enhanced future era.

this will allow me to create an even more fun gameplay, and make certain units for certain civics,
special buildings , and to obsolete units with tech in order to create a more realistic and orderly unit gameplay.

well, i didnt get to load my mod over vista either...
some people here succeded though,

i broke,
and installed xp,
hell, one of my cpus have both xp and win2000 (civ4 works even better there), and i have a strong cpu.

i continue towork on v 1.3,
i belive ill finish around two weeks or so, if i wont get lazy.
