Hi Keldath.

Weird problem - sg attached.

Around GT 830 if I go into a city then the game plays out looking through that city screen to the main map. I have to savegame and re-load, but as soon as I go back into a city - same thing. I can only see the game through the frame of the city screen.

Also on the main map some of the mouse-over info is now below the bottom frame of the main screen.View attachment 175756

Same thing happened to me at least 3 times. If you save and reload it will show it properly. Later on that disappears , but will show eventually again. It just comes and goes.....
Not a biggie thou. Just save and reload without quiting the game, but if you go to the city again it will happen again until some time later.
Same game, 900AD and everything is normal now.
..and.. well... yee... it bothers me a lot too ;)
 
I didn't get any Python exceptions.... just that weird city frame world..... and it is gone. As soon as it will happen again I will post a screen.
Really... It is just one tiny thing ....everything else and after that is so .... gooooood
 
Hmm. It happens to me every time I go into a city. I have to save game. Quit. Reload.
 
Erm. I turned on Python debug as Kali suggested. I don't normally have it turned on when I'm playing games. Any road up....Hope it helps.

ive decided to release version 1.5

so have fun guys,

i hope you wont get the city screen error, plz assiagn me with screen shot if there any problem.

also,
i reccomend play with the current setting of game componants,
with these setting you wont have a ctd, i ran over 2000 turns.

The python exception Pilotis reported will happen if you have more types of great people and some buildings, specialists give point toward acquiring these great people. One other condition for this exception is that BUG option for Great People bar is set to maximum. If it set to none or single no such exception will occur. History in the Making used to have the same problem. I made a fix that adds a new icon for the additional Great People type HitM had. The fix is implemented in GPUtil.py file if you like to look it up. Take care however that in Overlord case it should be tailored according to the types of Great People the mod add.

For the time being to avoid the odd interface behavior it is recommended to set the GP Bar option in BUG to single or none.

K. If you're gonna do that do you also want to fix the archer "TXT_IS_DCM_BOMBARD" when you mouseover/ select/ etc
