from what you describe hear, it seems you changed the original mod folder,

the mods folder must be like this:

\your civ4 folder\bts\mods\overlord2-1.5\

if its not like this, then thats why you cant close bug mod, and you get the errors you posted hear.

well thats the vicinity mod..its not suppose to be easy......think i should make the cavalry without vicinity?
 
I have an idea for version three (It will be very different and hard so I think #2 should come out first).
The Idea is to merg it with RFC (rhyes and fall's civilisation). since I know it is hard I'll offer you my help (even though I have almost no modding expirience). thanks in advance for atleast concidering it.

Well. O.K. I guess I'm getting used to it. Dammit ! It's scary though! Sorry I haven't got round to testing 'rev mod' only - I'm just having too much fun with your mod! I really like how it plays - even with quite a number of... hum.... idiosyncracies (yay! big word!)

I've come back to playing this mod after a long lay-off. So far, I've played up to the start of the Renaissance period. Some things that I've noticed about version 1.5:

1. The Druidism icons still aren't showing up, I'm getting corporation ones instead.

2. What is this BUG mod? Where can I find more information on it? Specifically, I'm interested in the unit auto-naming.

3. The way that the tech tree is laid out is not conducive to the player choosing the religion to found. Researching Druidism feels a little silly when I founded the Druidism religion with Polytheism.

4. The Early Cavalry unit seems underpowered. It keeps getting its arse kicked by Archer.

hi there,

1. your not getting druid icon? its so weird, kalimakus made m hte fonts, and ive tested the, and they worked, any one else has this?

2.bug mod - in the projects section of the site, heres the link http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=274636
but basicly you can change the apearnce of your ui, and about the unitnaming, i dont think that works for all of my added units.

3. hum...somthing is very suspicious, if you say druidism is discovered with poly', then i think you have a wrong version, but ill look into it.

i think i fixed the city screen stuck, thanks to kalimackhus.

also,
added bug 0.30
gonna add some more gp's
and some units.

That's not what I mean. Beyond the Sword has a game option that allows the player to choose which religion to found when he's the first to discover a certain tech. So Polytheism doesn't necessarily found Hinduism, for example. researched Polytheism, chose to found Druidism, and then had to research Nature Worshop in order to build Druidic Temples.

I can't build a druidic temple at all - even in the city that founded it.

i found some transporting error in some btr units....noone noticed i see...well its fixed now.

ive made suck a cool unit:
m.l.r.s,
i created a uniqe missile unit, that can be moved around loaded to the mlrs,
gave it some power,
and now you get a unit that can move missiles on land and luanch up to 6 missles - can be used to strike cities with missile barrage :)

-well not gonna release the patch,
ill release v-1.6.
guess i have some stuff i wanna add ...i didnt think ill get to v1.6 anytime soon...but...i couldnt resist.

id be happy to hear some suggestions for adding 1-3 techs, in modern/future times :)

I don't think so. I haven't selected it anywhere I don't think......It just comes up when I discover some techs but not always. I don't really know what's going on with religion in OL. As long as I don't CTD or get somthin reeeeaally daft, I love the OL gameplay so much I just keep going.

I just hit the buffers.

This is daft.

I can't build a 'tank' without 'oil' in the city vicinity. This is 'vicinity' gone MAD!!! Completely unacceptable in an era where we have modern transports, railroad etc. MAD !!

And ANYWAY! I can build tanks in this city - see attached - even when the frikkin' oil isn't within the boundary. BUT I have other cities where the oil is adjacent to the city and I CAN'T build tanks. WHAT !!!??? WHAT ???!!!

Very daft. Unless this is something due to the OL implementation of 'vicinity' I suggest you get rid of it. Gaaaah!!

from what zulu said, theirs an option to choose religions,

im waiting for hes reply on that.

anyway, in my gametests, i never encountered this, and religion goes fine,
right now i have a game running on autoai for over 1000 turns (with all the new stuff i made).

anyway keep enjoying :) and if you have notes for improvments....writem up..
