http://dragonage.bioware.com/ - something seems to be happening anyway. Since it's a Biowaregame for PC, it's worth keeping half an eye on.
I think they scrapped the fourth race, at least I have a faint recollection of it, or they just made it a non-playable race.I am looking forward for this game since they announced it a couple of years ago. In 2006 there were some articles about Dragon Age but since then news about the game are depressingly rare.
Good to see more info coming on wednesday.
And btw, afaik there are four races but the last one is still unnanounced.
I like classes, they bring another choice to the game that is important.Uh, no, that's not what I said at all. I dislike classes. While they work for, say, D&D games, I want an RPG that doesn't have classes. I don't want to be restricted in what I can use by a choice I made at the beginning of the game. (Unless that choice was to nuke half the gameworld, then restrictions would be obvious).
You hope they don't put it in, right?!I also REALLY hope they put any of that combo-. .. .. .. . combat in, although they didn't do too badly in KoToR.
I like the openended/sandbox games, but somehow rpgs never live up to the hopes when they are openended (which was the reason I brought up Oblivion), not for me anyway. We'll see about Fallout3, but I have higher hopes for Dragon Age and Diablo3 in particular.Mount&Blade has raised my expectations quite high, although I may be willing to overlook a few things if the story and setting is really good (eg The Witcher), I'd still rather have something like what Far Cry 2 promises then another linear KoToR. If you understand what I mean.

edit: it's now july the 11th we're waiting for. It seems they're releasing a trailer at gametrailers that day :-/
