I'm not an artist.
Bugger 'em. I once did an imitation of Van Gogh's Starry Night that the teacher panned because of 'uneven brush strokes'. But you know what? To this day it's one of my favourite pieces. At least half of art appraisal is based on personal taste. One man's trash is another man's treasure. When I did drawing at school no one liked them, especially my art teachers.
You think you don't. You're too hard on yourself. Remember this animal or these faces? I wish I could draw like that.I don't have any talent.
Neither am I. Bugger 'em. I once did an imitation of Van Gogh's Starry Night that the teacher panned because of 'uneven brush strokes'. But you know what? To this day it's one of my favourite pieces.[/qupte]It's not just one piece or teacher, it's everything that I do and everyone.
I have rubbish taste in everything. At least half of art appraisal is based on personal taste.
I'm probably not hard enough. You're too hard on yourself.
Most people are always mad at me and hate me.Do you realize how sad you're all making us?
I don't have a sense of humour.This isn't funny anymore
Not us. Heck, CurtSibling loves your work, and his job is art. It's not just one piece or teacher, it's everything that I do and everyone.
Really? What I've sampled was delicious.I have rubbish taste in everything.
Maybe on your end of the line. 'Round here we're avid fans. In fact, I haven't found one negative comment about you in this thread. Most people are always mad at me and hate me.
Then I guess it's up to me...I don't have a sense of humour.
I'm far too horrible, too much of a burden and get in the way too much to be loved by anyone.Don't be emo! Everyone loves you!
Anything that I like is usually hated by everyone.Really? What I've sampled was delicious.
End of the line?Maybe on your end of the line. 'Round here we're avid fans. In fact, I haven't found one negative comment about you in this thread.
I don't know. His probably didn't last for years and some people probably found him useful and liked him.I bet even da Vinci had his down days.
I'm far too horrible, too much of a burden and get in the way too much to be loved by anyone.
Finally managed to figure out how to get pictures off a Word document in my spare time. Here's something I designed for a school project about 7 years ago.
It's an eco-friendly building capable of generating at least some of the energy it needs using photovoltaic cells on the glass tower, which receive extra sunlight from the mirrors during noon time. It's also supposed to use hydrogen fuel cells, but the sciencey part was not my responsility

Sorry, no floor plan. It wasn't really the focus of the project. Heck, I was 15
It's supposed to be a mall + office, something very common over here. Are you an architect? That's one thing I considered becoming, but I heard it's not all about creativity and I'm not strong enough at math anyway.
I'm not an architect, just very interested in architecture, it's like art with physics. I am a painter and comic artist, though, for what it's worth. Anyway, these days I imagine you'd have an easier time with it since programs like SolidWorks (or at least architecture programs with similar stress simulation abilities) would do all the arithmetic and maybe even some of the maths. For what it's worth, I think you could've gone places with it if you gave it a good go.
Damn, what classes were you taking to be assigned a project like that? Cuz that is awesome....
I think that was already on the slab. I was asked to do the painting of a fox for a display as there's a passage in the Bible about foxes in holes.Do I see a moon in the background, alluding to lycanthropy? Perhaps more faintly alluding to it being a self-portrait of sort?
