I suppose you drew your avatar too then? Pretty good...

Its been sometime since I've drawn however some time ago I drew up some characters for a book Im writing.

The book itself is sort of animeish - but rather then the familiar anime Japanese setting I've decided on a more ranged once with many landscapes and characters.

Burldon S. Blavonovich - Major Character. Slav (Rus).
Ruri Bakatsumi - Major Character. Asian (Japanese).
Murad Osman - Major Character. Mid East (Turk).

The stories name is MORTALITY (In my Sig, BTM'S MORTALITY), after due preparation and work I begin writing tonight so keep yours eyes open ;)

Some more of mine, all drawn within the last three to four months:

An early picture of mine, the cover of London Calling, only the legs and arms are a wee bit out of propotion to the torso. The torso, I was rather pleased on how it came out. I'll return to redo it again someday.

This satelite castle of mine was inspired by the line of a Dave Matthews song. The King has actually yet to be drawn. It's not exactly what I had in my head, but good enough for my skills at the time:

The basic form of these two darlings, as you can probably quickly infer, was taken at the beach. They were out there for a total of two minutes, before coming back on dry land. I filled out the details later in the day.

This is based off a picture I took outside sometime during the summer. There was spider putting a moth into a cocoon. Very cool, I have the original picture somewhere (it was my background for a few months), but this will suffice:

This next one is supposed to be based off a promo pic of Hugh Laurie as Doctor House, but it never quite took the form of him to my liking.

This one is supposed to be based off a pic of Vesper Lynd from Casino Royale, but I messed up halfway through and went on my own with it.

This one is a self-potrait, the closest actual picture you'll ever find of my on the web. I'm still trying to fix the eyes, teeth and lips. The fact that I've erased so much that the color of the paper has come off doesn't help either.

Probably the best work I've done yet, a classic drawing of a 60s Bob Dylan. Probably the least amount of time I've actually spent on a decent drawing.

Probably my second favorite drawing, drawn when I was about 22:
HORSE1.JPG

This would be my favorite. It's a little dark along the bottom, because it's a scan of the picture while still in a frame. This is Man O'War, the famous race horse. I drew this when I was about 19.

I don't draw people, because I'm such a perfectionist in my drawings, and I can never get them to look right. Horses have always been my favorite drawing subject.

amazing 'Os!

Some random famous people from DVDs I own. You can probably guess who they are.

Not sure. Russell Crowe/Gladiator, either Liam Neeson or Harrison Ford (i'd go with Neeson), Mark Hamill (and very good if it is, instantly recognisable).

Chukchi, you're one hell of a drawer.

You got Russell Crowe right, it is Liam Neeson (from one of the Kingdom of Heaven DVDs), and Mark Hamill is right.

I don't know. I don't have any paints. I do have some colouring pencils, but I feel I might make a mistake in colouring and ruin the picture. I could try it digitally, but I never done it before.

I.m not remotely an artist but you could make copies and paint those for practice.

This is still very raw - just basic contours and a little bit of inking - but since it's been a while since last time I added anything here, and as I'm painting slow lately (lacking time to do much, actually), here it goes:

NinjadoInfernoteste.jpg

The concept of a "hell ninja" is very silly, I concur in advance, but I created these characters when I was 9, so please, cut me some slack. I simply got curious, one day, as how they would look like under my current standards.

I'll try to find an image of my original drawings from the 80's to post here later...

Regards :).
