GREAT BATTLES IN THE EAST ATLANTIC. The British Royal Navy intercepted Swedish and Dutch fleets heading west this year. The fleets were believed to have been en route to meet up with a larger French force to the south at Brest. The Swedish and Dutch force was utterly annihilated by the British, devastating their offensive capacity. Several thousand troops were picked up from the waves to be held as prisoners of war, but countless more have been lost to the ocean waves. The British navy, in possession of total Allied planning thanks to the capture of a Dutch captain, then met the French at sea. After a pitched naval battle, the French were soundly defeated and their remaining ships pulled back into harbor.

FIGHTING IN LUXEMBOURG. A campaign was launched this year by the Belgian army, successfully securing control of the Luxembourg region from the Dutch monarchy. With the Dutch army recoiling from the losses at sea, morale was low and the Belgians managed to win a number of victories against their force. Heavy casualties were inflicted on both sides, though obviously, Belgium has emerged victorious of the two.

STALEMATE IN NORTHERN NOVA SCOTIA. The armies of New England, Quebec, and Nova Scotia have all clashed in a series of major battles in the northwestern most parts of the North American theater. Several major battles have been fought between both armies, but at the time, neither has successfully managed to grab a foothold in the other nation. The armies of New England have rallied back to the border in Maine, while the Quebecois have been bringing their troops back to defend against the encroaching Canadian invasion.

CANADA INVADES QUEBEC. The Army of Canada has won several decisive victories against Quebec, advancing deep into their enemys nation, seizing control of Montreal. The Canadian army has dominated their opposition and some believe that next years campaign could easily knock Quebec out of the war.

FIGHTING IN NEW JERSEY. The armies of the allies of Virginia have managed to collect their combined forces and win several victories against the Second Union. The city of Philadelphia was captured by the invaders, scoring a major victory over the US forces, which were concentrated to the north. The remaining parts of the army were brought south to combat the threat, preventing a siege of New York City, and even retaking the city of Trenton.

SAUK AND ALLIES SEIZE MIAMI REGION. The Sauk army and their French backers have successfully surrounded and smashed Brutal campaign between Sauk and much smaller US army around Chicago. The French forces were able to force the US into siege positions around Chicago, and after a brutal forward assault, managed to secure the city. The US army was forced to surrender and the entire region has fallen to allied control.

MEXICANS SEIZE WESTERN LOUISIANA. With little defensive forces and chance for success, the Mexicans easily took western Louisiana from the French defenders. Only the vast amount of territory which needed to be occupied proved any resistance to the Mexican invasion.
BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS. The Mexicans made another bid for power with an assault on the French city of New Orleans in southern Louisiana. With no French naval presence, the Mexicans easily landed forces east of the city and marched against the French army there. After a heated battle, the Mexicans emerged victorious, routing the French military. The Mexican army then marched into New Orleans, securing the destruction of the southern French army and their control over southern Louisiana.

WAR IN NEW GRANADA. The war in South America is of somewhat comical proportions. The army of New Granada advanced into southern Venezuela, while the army of New Granada does well in invasion of southern Venezuela, while Venezuelans do well in the north. The main armies missed each other, while defeating smaller enemy armies in their advance.

ZULU OVERRUN SOUTH AFRICA. The British Empire suffered a severe colonial loss with the occupation of the colony of South Africa by the Zulu. The Zulu forces launched an overwhelming assault, destroying the British garrison and taking full control of the territory. In the process, the British inflicting incredibly heavy casualties, demolishing the Zulu offensive capability.
