Duke Nukem Forever, alive!

DNF has such a baggage that it can simply not live up to it.
Not to add that Gearbox isn't anything to write home about, they're mediocre add-on makers at best.

I predict that DNF will ends up being a very average game that will be bashed/mocked because falling short of all the sh*tstorm hype it caused in past years.
DN3D was ground-breaking at the time, but the video game world has changed since then, and the development mess DNF has bogged down since then, makes me very doubtful about its ability to evolve with the times.

I also think DNF can't live up... But Gearbox's Borderlands is an above average game. Most of its DLC is of quality compared to other DLC, that being said, DLC is DLC and it's still a ripoff and I hate it. I only bought the DLC when it was basically 2$ each on special instead of the 10$. And even then I felt dirty.

Anyone with an expectation of DNF to be more than a Duke Nukem game is delusional. I expect it to be a shoot em up game featuring The Duke and for it to be rather silly/goofy/fun. Which may very well be worth my money I hope, Borderlands is a good game and its DLC is actually something substantial compared to 99% of most DLC.

Well seeing as how someone already did that during the first hands on that was open at the convention they announced it at recently, and even one of their staff did so during a video presentation even more recently, yeah its been done.

Doesn't mean I still won't do it.
