It's a good tip BunkMuffin, but I still feel copy-protection shouldn't be so intrusive. Nero is a good program that has many valid uses - in my job (science) we generate gigs of data which gets backed up onto CD and DVD. Of course much of this goes home and worked on there where it also gets burnt.
Why should CivIV make the decision that because I have Nero installed I am a software pirate?
I want CivIV, as I posted earlier in this thread, to have an online verification system. Windows does it, most other big games (WoW, HF2, etc) have this system, and it's much easier than CD tricks.
