In Haiti, the main god of Voodoo religion, the Damallah Wedo is sycretized as St. Patrick.
if you don't know what sycretized is, at the time of slavery was forbiden for the Africans worship the African gods, so they use christian images to worship their gods, so in Haiti they choice St. Patrick to represent Damballah Wedo.

Nice. An American here enthusiastic about all history.

I like all histories too.
But some histories catch more my attention then others.
I rly like histories of the Third World. As history of Africans or Americans.
I also enjoy Asiatic history, despite I know so little about Asia.
And about European history, I'm studying a lot on the University, almost all disciplines that semester are speaking about ancient Greece. And I like it, I even will by the Herotodos book called History.
