But i build my first city on top of hill. I always try to do it, because it gives extra defencive bonus. Of course you should build only border towns on hills

I have a question?

Is it better to go for a settler or worker first?

Currently I start off building a extra warrior, then obelisk, or vice versa. I wait till my population grows to 4-5, and pumping out warriors in between and then start on my first worker. But I'm debating if it is better to build a settler like the advisor asks first. What I'm wondering is if the production improvement seen from the second city earlier outweighs the terrain improvements the worker can do in the same time.
