Earth in motion

:bump:

Cool maps. One little thing that bugs me, although it's minor, is the projection. I think it'd be worth it to reshape some of the continents at the edges of the map. I mean, Australia looks ridiculous in some of those maps.

Sorry if you didn't want any constructive criticism.

Actually, I think I can take that back. Often, shrinking continents helps make things a little easier for the European civs. So, are you still planning on making future maps? Or maybe a modern-day map from the same projection?

I have some map projects on my "to do" list. Future maps are among them along with... well, you'll see. :mischief:

About projection, you're right. And I'm surprised nobody noticed it before ;) But I thinks these maps are playable as they are. So, I prefer go on working on others.

I'm glad someone bumped this, because this is the first time I've seen it.

Very cool maps :)

Sholdnt there be a land bridge and higher ocean levels or arnt we at the ice age yet caouse that one would be cool You could use the Winter terrain

@ MaisseArsouye: I trawl through these forums only now and then. I keep finding little gems hidden away. These maps are the nearest I've come to finding the Holy Grail!

It's simply an outstanding job!!

Great concept! Great execution! And I personally don't think the projection issue is an issue. Best map work I've seen on here by far!

:hatsoff:

Thanks Rambuchan.

These maps are probaly among the most original I made and I forgot to upload them to my brand new library

these maps are really cool man
just one question
does anyone else get missing build times in the build Q?
everything else appears ok and i'm just using the maps for standard C3C games
it's just that next to the image then name of the building / unit theres just a blank space!

never seen this when using any other map or mod
hope someone can help cos it's a bit irritating!
later dudes.

NICE MAPS!!! seem accurate enough, and ive always liked this kind of stuff. see how gameplay goes-it may be useful for some kind of dino scenario.

A magnificent set of maps, which fortunately was bumped up so that I found it. Since I am a fan of water maps, and lots of unconnected land masses, I suspect that I will be having a lot of fun with these. They also do lend themselves to some fantasy scenarios as well. Have to give that some thought. Okay if I play with them a bit, and then maybe repost them with appropriate credit?
