Easy to do building request

could someone convert the different style of Castles in AOE? I need them for the MEM mod

Sure, you just want the .pcx of them? What size do you want them? What about Asian Castles? What about Meso-american castles . And, is that all the buildings you want?

BTW It is AoK. As AoE didn’t have Castles, just fortresses .

I want the european and the oriental(muslim?) castles or fortresses. I never played the game much, so im not sure about the selection.

Yes, but I'll wait till I get all four large .pcx's till i post another preview . Hey, you want me to email them to you or post them here, remeber I havent tested them yet.

Also, you want me to convert a Hagia Sophia one (turks wonder in AoK), I think you are still using the pyramids gfx in MEM.

I only want the Byzantine version of Hagia Sofia(they build it), thats the one there is in the MEM. Also it has already been made, so i dont see the need for it. Maybe some buildings??

Go ahead and post the buildings here, i dont see why i should be the only one to use them.

Yes I know they built it, but the Hagia Sophia is the Turks wonder in AoK, not much I can do about that, the Byzantines wonder is rumored to be the Hagia Sophia before the Turk's conquered Constantinople. But I doesn't really look like it IMO, so I won't do it. I'll look at the others civs wonders, as I heard you thought MEM was short on them.

The main reason I would e-mail them to you is so you would find out (one way or another ) if it works in game\looks good in game. Also, YOU did request it for MEM in particular.

The turks actually changed the look of HS quite alot when they conquerd Constantinople, are you sure I cant use the byzantine HS? I dont know why it should´nt work in game, so long its the correct pexel size.

While I am doing this I wouldn't mind to do more, MANY of the wonders look very good, it is just a question of what you need.
I can give a list of what they are if you want (or what I think they are).

Here is a comparison of the two Sophias, Greek one is on the left.

The castles look great, im going to use them all, exept the asian one. Could you convert both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia? I need them both. And a list would be nice, i will get tired of having more building graphics.

I am not sure about these ‘building’.pcx files, does it have to be in a format beside inedexed\pcx? Do I have to do anything more to this?

Some people think they are these, but in reality these are only half of them, and know one really knows except the designers, but they could pass for-
Torre del Oro (Spanish one, it looks like a light house WITH PALM TREES *ahem*)
Hagia Sophia
Notre-Dame cathedral? Chatres Cathedral? The holy chapel? (which one I can't tell)
Blue Mosque
Canterbury cathedral? (English)
Palace of Ctesiphon? (Persian wonder)
Rock of Cashel (Celtic-Irish Wonder)
Great (spiral) Minaret of the Great Mosque in Samarra (saracens wonder, 'big minaret' discribes it fine )
The Tomb of Theodric the Great (Goth wonder)

I always load the palette from the original buildings-large & buildings-small. That way you can see how they will eventually turn out. Try them out in game before releasing 'em.

nice PCH, i cant really help you with the creating issues, but hopefully other can. Maybe you could post/find some screenshots of buildings, then I could say which ones i need? You dony have to ofcause

Drift, thanks for the tip, the reason I ask, would be to avoid confusion when I did test, not doing so (testing) was never on mind. However lazy I am .
