Anyway sounds like a good turn and no we don't have Sun Tzus..... had 29 turns left to run at end of my turn :(

Lots of settleing and hopefully a switch over to Republic for Shdwlord

Republic depends on situation with the Sistine Chappel though which is probably my favourite wonder.

Inherited: A quick look at f7 shows that Sun Tzu's is still being constructed. London switched from pikeman to temple. With 3 English pop and 2 persian pop, it is set to starve. Its a 1 shield city right now anyway. Micromanagement shaves 3 turns off Sun Tzu's, now 19 turns. York switched from pikeman to temple and set to starve. Shaved 1 turn off Hero Epic by setting Susa ( 12 pop city ) to a zero growth rate. Shaved a turn off Sistine Chapel. Many cities producing pikeman switched. Size 1 persian cities with entertainers put to work. Cities at max population switched from food production to shield production.

A very quiet turn of building wonders and infrastructure. Immortals and the army are enroute to germany and Englands last cities. This late in the game, I rejected republic, in order to get democracy without 2 periods of anarchy. There are still alot of places we could build cities.

I suggested Reoublic as I was worried we didn't have the inferstructure to cope with the extra demands of democracy.
Sistine and Bachs should change that though.

Anyway Mummyman is up

The English and the Germans are ancient history, with Persia at the top of the histograph. Above the Egyptians, the Russians, and the Aztecs. The aztecs are 2nd, Egypt 3rd, and russia 4th. I think i'm right, but russia may be above egypt. Our federation of cities is massive! Military tradition in 4 turns. I started to prepare by building horsemen. All of our cities have Musketmen, and our world map is the best. We are in a democracy earning 300+ gold per turn!!! This is awesome! I started to look for a new landmass when my galley sunk. There is a hint of land in the southeast corner but a caravel has not been built yet. Massive jungle clearing going on, should be clear in about 10 turns at the most. We have TONS of luxuries! Once we discover Magnetism (4 turns after the 4 for Mil. Trad.) we can trade them like crazy. We are the furthest in tech (the AI is in the arly middle ages  ) Wall street will be done in about 5 turns to add another 50 gold to our enormous per turn amount. We are simply the best! We are finally reaching our true golden age of development!

Uhh, save game please.

I think Earl would like to be able to play.

It would be good  ;)

Anyway if Mummyman does post the save game I probably won't be able to play till 8ish GMT (now 11:30am)

So your welcome to go ahead again if you want Lee.

Well Earl,
I don't even start playing to 11:00 pm (gmt time)

You are next.

Sorry, just saying if you were ok to play and wanted too. Anyway I doubt Mummyman will be up for a bit to post the game.......
I'll mail him just in case.

Inherited turn: 1255AD - Switched Ergili from Horseman to Marketplace
Switched Tarsus from Horseman to Cathedral.
Switched Herat and Heidelberg from Caravel to Temple.
Lots of switching cities producing units to infurstructure... Our main cities can do that once wonders are finished.

Units going God knows where on Go To..... :(

1260 AD (1) Babylon and Sardis both complete Universities and start Cathedrals. They are fine for now but when we do turn to War they will be on the brink straight away.

1265 AD (2) Leipzig finishes Aquaduct and starts Cathedral

1270 AD (3) Gordium finishes Uni, starts Caravel
Arbela finishes Horseman, starts another.

1275 AD (4) Milatay Tradition resarched allowing us to get the Milatary Accademy as well as the obvious Cavalry.
Theory of Gravity started.
Copernicus built in Pasargadae. Starts Cathedral.
Upgrade the Horseman for 250 (5 of them)

1280 AD (5)

1285 AD (6) Wall Street Complete in Persepolis which starts Marketplace.
Berlin finishes Coloseum and starts Bank.

1290 AD (7) Hamadan finishes Uni, starts Marketplace Bampur founded between Nuremberg and Hamburg

1295 AD (8) Finish ToG, start Economics. We've got no rivals for Newtons so i decide to wait till Pasargadae finishes its Cathedral so we can combine it with Copernicus.
We've got such a killer econ that we can't get techs any quicker than at 40% scienece (4 turns) which gives us around 300+ and our treasury is over 3,000 but some of our cities are using entertainers.
So I raise luxurys

1300 AD (9) Dover completes Harbours, starts Temple.
Nuremberg finishes temple, starts Libraray

1305 AD (10) York finishes Aquaduct, starts marketplace.

1310 AD (11) Perse finishes its Cahedral, starts Colloseum.
Borazjan finishes Temple, starts Marketplace.
Rush Templez in 3 old English cities and one of our replacements for just over 500
With only one turn to go till economics, whatever the science rate, we'll coop all that back next turn :D

1315 AD (12)
Ecomoics resarched start the final advance required to get us into industrial, Magnestium.
Plus it will allow us to start trading with the other remaining civs.
Montezuma reckons a fair swap would be his territory map for mine and Printing Press..... well he got one thing for free.

1320 AD (13) Ur finishes Bank, starts Cathedral
Cleopatara thinks the same thing as Montezuma and gets the same freebie as Montezuma.

1325 AD (14)
Pasaragadae finishes its Cathedral and starts Newtons
Rush Harbour in Brighton.
Lots of other infurstructure finishes and the jungle near DK is almost gone (1 Square)

1330 AD (15)

1335 AS (16)
Magnetisum Reasarched, we progress to idntrial age, getting Nationalisum as our free tech. Start Steam Power.
Starts Smiths in Berlin.
Get Insense from the Aztecs for typicalally OTT price of 3 Luxurys. It takes him off Annoyed to Polite though
Catherine isn't prepared to play ball with her sliks so I give her a World map and that changes her to polite.

Rush a few infurstructure, mainly temples and Upgrade the 45 musketmen that can. Leaves us just over 2500 :D

1340 AD (17) Lots of infurstructure completed as well as the rushes bits and pieces.
Do my "F key serious damage with all those Riflemen.
1/2 a dozen WLTE days.

1345 AD (18) Susa compltes JS Bachs, starts Uni.
More infurstructure (do I even need to say?)
More WLTE days popping up :)

150 AD (19) MORE WLTE days :)

lkendter is up next
Sorry but i saved it start of the next turn. All I did was put a city which finished its acthedral on a Uni

1345 AD, 150 AD
Did we invent a time machine here?

I will get to this one later today.
I am in a marathon with B2 - 5 turns in 1 1/2 hours.

I was making horsemen in cities because i didn't see anything that was useful to us other than horsemen to be upgraded to cavalry. I was making caravels to scout the island off our southeast coast.

Yes, looks like you've got more jobs to do than workers..... and War at the same time!

I guess it'll be a while till we see the next turn in here ;)

Yes but you were building Caravels in size 2 cities which didn't have a Temple. A lot of ourcities were leval happy/unhappy citzens and thoseinfurstructure + the extra luxury has got a lot of WLTE Days. We can still get that island but if we don't, so what? The AI cities there will be just as non-productive as our and due to the siez of our emoper it is impossible that we won't have at least 2 of a Strat Res. The only thing which could be beneficial is a luxury. I decided that improving at home rather than getting ahead of ourselves was the better idea.
I don't see us going to War for around 40 turns, at leats until we can get Police Stations and Universal Sufferage up. That leaves plenty of time for more Milatary build up. And when we do go towar those brink cities are going to go preety damn quickly,. We don't want to be using too much of our surplus on Luxerys as we will want that for temples and Airports in our newly conqoured colonies.

Just call me a Pacsifist. ;)

Preturn -
Earl - You can remove the apoligize (American spelling) comment ;)

1355 AD - mmow, completed the partial turn.
1360 AD - Steam Power researched, begin on Industry.
1365 AD - Begin worker teams for railnet.
1370 AD - Our first 2 cities are connected.
1385 AD - Factories now available. Researching medicine.
1400 AD - I explore the mystery land mass to the south. What a loser.
1405 AD - Researching Electricity.
1415 AD - Begin Suffrage, eta 25 turns.
1430 AD - Begin research on Scientific Method.
1440 AD - Newtons is completed.
1450 AD - Atomic Theory research is begun.

Summary - We have a hugh tech lead.
I almost completed the thin rail net.
Our only decision - How to we plan to win?
Once the factories come on line, we are guaranteed to win a space race.

If we are going for domination, we should start to close our cultural borders.
