Editor - unit characteristics help

I was wondering how to select multiple unit characteristics in the edtor. For example- On the lower left of the unit editor page is characteristics like immobile, foot unit, invisible, etc. I can only highlight one of these at a time unless i click and drag down. Which then only lets me select the characteristics that are adjacent to each other, but i want to be able to select different multiple abilities that aren't adjacent to each other. I have seen it done on others mods but cannot figure out how to do it myself. If I try to highlight one and then another, the first one I highlighted becomes un highlighted. Please help me figure this out. Thanks.

Click on one you want, then hold down the CTRL key and click on others that you want to select. This should highlight the ones you select, but not the ones in between. This applies to other sections of the editor as well.
