Dear Citizens,
I'm sorry to have to report this, but something very urgent and important has come up. I won't be here at the designated start time for elections.
With that said, I'd like to ask that no one attempt to post the elections in my absence. I'd rather not give anyone a reason to complain about the procedures. I will post the elections as soon as I get home tonight (as late as 7:00 PM EDT).
Nominations will still close at the scheduled 2:00PM EDT deadline. Please do not interpret this as an extension of the nomination period. There will simply be a several hour gap between the end of nominations and the start of elections.
