Elohim tolerance quick question

I think not

Probably. You should get all the benefits from the new palace, though it is important to remember that you can only have one civ palace, so you'll lose your original one when you build a new one.

Any source of Adventurer :gp: can lead to you getting an Adventurer (subject to the way that Great People are produced). Other Grigori buildings can supply these points, so building the palace is not necessary, but you may want the additional Adventurer :gp: the Grigori Palace provides to speed the process. As Tholol mentioned, however, doing so will cost you your Elohim Palace - so consider carefully before you choose to make the switch. Personally, I consider the Grigori Palace superior, so unless you need that source of Nature mana or the position of the new palace would be problematic it is probably a good trade.

On the other hand however You cannoy build other civilizations hero in captured city, and adventurers are in fact Grigori heroes. Hence my quick question.
I guess the only way to find out is to try the theory out...

Yeah, people forget that it isn’t Tolerant that makes the Elohim a civ worth playing, it’s the +20% War Weariness they get from their palace. That makes them a powerhouse.

Adventurers are small potatoes compared with the might of additional war weariness.

Doesn't extra war weariness mean that you get tired of warring faster?
Or does it apply to whoever you are fighting at the moment (meaning your enemy gets tired of war faster)?

He was being sarcastic, and saying the the Elohim palace isn't as good as the Grigori palace.

Totaly unrelated: Moon i like your avatar, where does it come from?

Thank, and do you mean the picture itself, or the character?

Infernal palace would seem like the best if you have your pick of any...

Anyway, I was ready to kick off my first Elohim game, and I had a few tolerance questions...

  • Can you upgrade as if you were that civ when you are in that city, or just build? Can you upgrade adepts and savants to Wizards in a former Amurite city?
  • If the answer to the former question is "yes", then does that extend to civ-specific units that replace other units? Can axemen upgrade to Vampires? Can Mimics upgrade to Vampire Lords?
  • Can you build literally anything except the shrine hero? If I conquer an Illian city, can I go through The Draw and Ascension and build Auric?

Yes, yes (Although feasting is Calabim-only), and I remember there being a glitch that the Elohim could build the Winter Rituals once. I don't know when/if it was fixed.

Thanks for the responses.

Do you mean you can only feast in a former Calabim city, or you just plain can't feast unless you're playing the Calabim?

So, the winter rituals were specifically left out, then? You can build the non-shrine heroes for civs and such?

You cannot use feast unless you're playing as the Calabim.

What exactly do you mean by "and such"? You can't build units like Herne, I'm sure of that.
