Just a note. After this mini-game we will be moving on to the game itself. Does anyone have any preferences for their factions? (So I can make PC stats.) Essentially every player will start with 1 settlement and move on to their empires and whatnot from there.

Underdark
While the inhabitants of Ratville focus on trade with the humans of Zanomar, the Issith of Zapha-nav focus on their own expansion, notably with the construction of a second Temple Mound, at the center of which lay statues of the founders as well as the Issith deities of feeding and breeding.
The Swiech of Dhah-Mbel'ya have dug through the center of the rocks jutting from the bay and established fishing portage and food storage along the path to the village center.
Overworld
While the underworld silently goes through its machinations, the surface world explodes into action. A rivalry between the Gurkish host foraging for food and the famined locals of the overburdened Toravopes River develops, with deadly consequences. Raiding parties from both peoples have been sent against the other, but few conclusive battles have taken place as yet.
An effort by the lord of Zanomar Manor, named Lord Protector of Zanomar by his superiors in the west, has begun to wall the northern portions of the town, those vulnerable to Gurkish assault. Much of the population from beyond the proposed wall have been evacuated within the walls.

Level 7 has become the poor section of Ratville filled with those coming off the docks and looking for work.
It would seem as though the increased activity in the neighboring Warren of Ratville atop the cliffs has incensed the Swiech of Dhah-Mbel'ya into action, as increased defenses are set up. As more Swiech funnel into the colony, rumors of its size and proximity to an endangered Warren (possibly full of loot should the Warren fall) a winding tunnel is dug to the surface. As yet, no humans nor Issith are aware of the breach of the Swiech defenses.
Overworld
As the standoff continues between the town of Zanomar and the Gurkish village, the first shipment of food arrives from the city of Tolindanas in the west, which has been confirmed by the Lord of Zanomar as his new western ally. With this shipment comes the relief from the starvation that has been choking the human and Swiech populations, but also thestartling revelation that the island in the river, now known as Issith Isle, is apparently the source of the local Issith population, as a Den Mother was spotted suntanning on the shore as the traders went by.
Rumors of Swiech traders from east across the sea begin to reach the town, but there has been no mention of it by officials, or how the traders would reach the town. The rumors clearly state intention to construct a large market in town, however.
