Cool ability, but i was a bit disappointed that i couldn't create a forest, via Bloom, on tiles that i had already build something on.
Creating a forest and then building works fine, but not the othe way around.
Dunno, if this is intentional, i myself found it very frustating.

another thing i noticed: with the trait Raiders you can get more then 100XP from barbarians, the extra 1XP for each battle.

Yeah, i noticed that about the elves, havn't seen any responces to it though yet. Then again, i post like a crazed sweaty tooth madman, and dont often expect replies to most of my posts. Hey, that rhymed.

The build options for the elves in wood will get replaced with special Forest-only buildings.
So you will have treetop villages or something similar. Then it will of course be obvious that you cannot build a forest after you built the treetop village, and a "normal" village will not have enough place on the ground to bloom a full forest.

Will these be available from the beginning? or at some point am i going to want to pillage all my "normal" villages, in favor of the treetoppers?

EDIT: P.S. Do these buildings still allow for the maturing (to ancient) of forests? Or would it be a halt on that effect for some reason?

Isn't the inability to bloom on existing improvements not lethal for the AI, as they don't realize they have to pillage existing stuff first?

AI does not bloom.

That's what I was kinda suspecting. :(
Are there any plans to change this? It feels kinda silly to have civs with the Fellowship religion but their lands filled with farms and cottages.

Yes it is planned to change this. But when tehy do they will still not be to handicaped.
The Farms and cottages that elves will be able to build in Forests will be a bit weaker than the normal Farms. So you will have to decide between more production (forest) or more of the typical thing (food/commerce). Ancient forests of course throw that off balance as they will still be superior with an improvement inside than all other possibilities.

So shouldn't a fellowship civ "think ahead" and just bloom forests about everywhere, knowing they will turn into ancient forests eventually?

I agree with this. I'd rather have an ancient forest in every last space that could have one, so if i have to forgo improvements to get a regular forest, in order that it has the chance to change, i'd do it. The combination of "better production" and "massive defense" makes it too drool worthy to pass up. Plus it looks REALLY nice.

It's not raider trait, I just noticed that my Elohim are gaining >100 XP right now. It's either due to a recent change, intended or not, or to the raging barbarians which I haven't fought this extensively before.

Might want to post it in the bug thread...

Do they have Valor cast on them?

I'm sure they did, I toss it up every turn or two. Was it intended to increases exp gained even if otherwise it was zero?

Dang, shouldn't have said anything...
