First City:
I started at South America. Because the settler is rounded by jungle, I spent approximately 20 round to move it up to north America, and build the capital near another nation - India. Then, I directly built two worker, and researched bronze working to fetch down the tree and built another settler. Now, the Mansory should be completed, the capital must begin to build the Pyramid (this is very important because it give you wide choice between government type). Now, workersshould continue fetching down any tree in the area of capital(fortunately, there are up to 10 forest tiles in this area). So I got the Pyramid at last.
Second City (at the mid America):
Warrior first, and barrack, and fetching down 2 trees to build a settler.
At this time, thousands of Bars came from south America rush to your city.
Should build many Archers.
Third City: (at the site of Canell):
Archer first, and barrack.
Now it is the time of Bar Counter Attack.
Use chariots, as many as 20 -30 units (all 3 cities, full speed production), to destroy there camp @ south America. Use a worker to build a rount through the jungle @ amazon river.
After seiged 2 cities of Bar, there are 5 cities in total.
Distribute all remaining chariots on the South America to ensure that you can see the map clearly, and that, no Bar remains.
Now the finance of the government is really bad~ I only devote 20 % on the research. Others should be spent on the support of large army and distanced cities. Use these 5 cities to build many workers, settlers(fetching down the trees you can find). And clear all the jungle along Amazon.
Economy recovery:
There can be built 4 cities along Amazon River. These cities should be surrounded by cottages (you have many workers ~~~) and use the money to rush the granary.(you have the Pyramid, right?)
Now the score is near half or even bad against the top civ. And the research progress is also far away from others. But after a few rounds, the Empire was built and began to boom.
I built 16 cities at last. Some of them are devoted specially for industry, others for reseach(each research town produce up to 150 credits). It is now very easy to do any research.
Diplomacy"
balance the enemies, it is wise to declare war some time. build a large navy to protect the sea, and sink all the transports along the sea.
