It shows that EE2 is coming out. You guys going to get it??

I am still deciding to get Empires: Dawn of the Modern World and EE Gold Edition....

Probably not, I wasn't a big fan of the original, thought it had little new in it... If that cahnges, I might...

Na, the original had nothing to offer except being an expanded AoE series that lacked finish and fun.

I'll give them this- with the creen shots I looked at, this will defintatelly bew one of the best looking games ever

I'll definately get it providing two things:

1; It'll still be playable on low end computers like EE1
2; They actually HAVE planets instead of an island with the ocean replaced with 'space' (EE;AOC)

But even if none of those are fulfilled, I'll still get it 'cause it was quite revolutionary in the fact that there would be a RTS game that would span from prehistoric to future instead of games like AoE which just spanned from stone to ancient or ancient to medieval.

When is this coming out? I lost the original. Can't find the dumb CD, and my friend wants to play multiplayer. So if we both got the sequel we could finally play multiplayer without going to his house to do it.

EDIT: It's going to come out the first half of 2005. Rats.
