In the end the discussion is moot because it all boils down to chemistry; the chemistry of your DNA affects as well as the chemistry of your environment.

But it definitely ends with chemistry.

That's the exact opposite of what was being argued: it's not a matter of or, but of and. Hence any further discussion will be moot, since neither environment nor genetics can be singled out as the sole deciding factor.

Sorry, I didn't express myself very clearly, but Agent has the gist of it. DNA and other inheretance factors, like epigenetics and the diet of the mother amongs other things, are just another chemical factor that goes into making you, just the same as with environmental factors. Then to say that this aspect is caused by inheretance and this aspect is caused by environment is to ignore the great interplay between them.
