EQ's Plexus' Prohibition

Because where else would you get it if you didn't have a distillery? The black market is the only other option.

The way I see it, Distilleries are only profitable when you have 4 Speakeasies, as the 40 Alcohol units require 4 Speakeasies to be sold. I think that the best is to start building up the Speakeasies, buying the alcohol from the Black market, and once you reach 4 Speakeasies, you just build your own Distillery and you start to earn much more money.

Maths:
1 unit of Alcohol in the Black Market costs 16 credits.
1 unit of Alcohol sold in a Speakeasy gives 30 credits.
Therefore, there is a 14 credits benefit per unit of Alcohol for selling the booze from the BM.

1 unit of Alcohol created through a Distillery costs 6 credits.
Therefore, there is a benefit of 24 credits benefit per unit of Alcohol.

The cost would be 150 credits per Speakeasy+Bartender plus 250 for the Distillery, and that costs 850 credits. Each S+B would be paid out in 11 turns, and once you get the Distillery it would take other 11 turns to pay it out (as long as you have the 4 Speakeasies)

Oh, that makes sense then. I didn't see where the the alcohol sells for 30 credits, I thought it was less than the black market.

Well, I think we have enough to start things, starting an update now. Remember, speed will be of the essence for this, but I promise I will always give at least 24 hours before starting a new update.

EQ: Can't I sell booze to the black market? Or to other players?

EDIT: Also, does ocean blocks even matter? Or can we build gambling halls on barges for the fisherman?
