Eragon mod

i was thinking that 2. but i decided against it because of the lack of techs we would have otherwise.

Iv been downloading some units like elves and stuff and trying to get them to work
 
Yeah, I agree, we already don't have very many techs, but I can't think of any better ones after glancing through eldest quickly.
 
fine, but I want to add another idea:

civics. yes, but listen. Civics probably won't be so important in this mod (as each nation will be so differnt anyway), but I was thinking of a civic option for the dwarf clans. Everyone has no-clans, but the dwarves start with a tech only they can have, called "dwarfism" or whatever, that allows all these dwarf clans as civics.

The clan on the civic option is the clan leading the dwarves. This would be a great way to put clans into the game. Natualy the starting clan is the Durgrimst Ingeitum, or whatever its called :p

Quan, which should provide military and gold, but slower growth
Durgrimst Feldunost, lots of food and happiness

Hey sorry haven't been around a few days. You can't make the uralgs like barbarians because they play a major role in the ending of the second book. Also, I'd be willing to lend whatever I can to this mod. Currently I can edit XML (if i actually try) and I'm also a good mapper. I have a question will the map possibly contain the original continent of the humans which is unknown?

P.S. I would be really willing to do the map if no one else wants to.

id have to say in a quick game all civs would be playable.
in the scenro i would say the varden or the empire with the cup controlling the elves dwarves and surda.
 
ice2k4 it would be great if you could make the map with the unkown continant. This is a big ask but are you good enough with mxl that you could do somthing about heros???? if not we can change it so its just a normall hero system like in ffh.

.......oh dear. I thought it was just the scenario. Oh well its only a little more work :p. Maybe you should have 2 playable races for each side, the varden and the dwarves (can't leave out the clans), and the empire and the urglas (the urgals would be just too fun :D ) as the baddies. Locked alliances ofcourse.

Just a few thoughts. Btw, the civs are almost finished, but maybe someone else should do the cities, as I don't think I have them right :twitch:

Ill do the cities if you want.
Iv started the units but run into a few problems nothing serious i think i just put the unit folder in the wrong place lol. iv done all the coding with xml get no errors when loading. in the game i finish making the unit the game closes down???? any ideas
 
nevermind i fixed the problem now we have elven archers yay lol
 
Ok, I want to ask something....

as yuo seem to want a "quick" game as well as the sceanrio, what do you mean by that? Do you mean the base game, and the civs go around a normaly created universe, or do you intend several scenarios, all with maps for several games, and one for the main scripted scenario? :p

basicaly do you want to keep the normal "start game", or "cutom game" versions of the game in the finished mod, and have it totaly scenario based? :p. I would go for this, but its a team project so...
