I deleted some mods of BtS 3.13 and Warlords expansion and now when I try to launch BtS there come's error : Failed Initializing Python
Please help me somebody
I just uninstalled Warlords and did a defragment of my drive and now I too have this message when I try to start up BtS. Note, however, that this message does not appear on a normal civ 4 startup and that other programs using Python still function properly (I am NOT running them at the same time).
The error message is simple. Its a text box that says "Failed Initializing Python".
My int log says this:
[1560.875] ERR: InitWinApp() failed, exiting
[1560.906] ERR: CIV Init FAILED, exiting
Normal Civ 4 works fine. BtS worked fine yesterday before I uninstalled Warlords. Now BtS doesn't work...
Maybe BtS was somehow dependent on Warlords for something or uninstalling Warlords deleted a file?
I do still have python24.dll and boost_python-vc71-mt-1_32.dll in my BtS directory though.
BtS needs some warlords files - when you install it without warlords present it will create a mock warlords install and just put its dependencies in there - so I would uninstall BtS and reinstall it...
