Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

Well, that's the idea. Everyone knows that all private dicks exist in a sort of perpetual Bogart movie. Sticking zombies in with them is clearly just the next logical step.
Yes and the unit I plan to use fits perfectly with the description. :goodjob:

KingArthur..All good ideas and additions. Perhaps the Air Strip should be colored more like the Roads with less contrast...It has Pure Black 0, 0, 0 and Roads are 42, 50, 44.
BTW, will Elvis have an Attack?

I plan to use the excellent additions you made to the King.

Any chance you could change the colour on the air strip for me? I lack the know how or the software.

Plotinus, I think that your Private Eye detective description is awesome. I like how it seems to be in the 50's! ;)

Thanks, LM. I did a few descriptions and tidied up some of the older ones for the last release of the scenario, but I'm not normally very good at thinking up creative stuff like that. But Sam Hammer cries out for it, plus it's easy just to string a few cliches together. That's what the whole scenario's about!

Plotinus-I hope you do more of those descriptions!

Oh and KingArthur I have been aware of this for awhile, and I'm not trying to be pushy, but Paradise City has a Nuclear Plant, a Nerd Center, A Private Eyes office, but it doesn't include a Grocery Store (Or even a Wal-Mart!)

Once when I was messin' around with this scenario, I play-tested one right

here.

It was rather challenging to get as the Survivors (BTW I gave it to the Zombies).

For the grocery stores, I basically take it that the commercial centers are the grocery stores.

Besides, not every grocery store is the most tactically important locations on the map. (though you can make it)

A powerplant, once it's up and running.
A Nerd Center, well, there's interesting units there.
A Private Eyes Office, detectives need their HQ.
A hardware store is where you get chainsaws.
A Fast Food Joint is where you get your McDonalds, and everyone likes McDonalds, even zombies.

And everything else is fairly straight forwards.

What are the commercial centers?

Personally I think a Grocery Store is more important than McDonald's (I hate McDonald's by the way :vomit: :D )

OK, how about a Wal-greens?

The skyscrapers. (right click them, and they would say commercial property)

think zombie movies people...when do you see people holed up in a grocery store?...What paradise Island needs is a Mall...thats where the scared teenagers hide...But a grocery store?...Nah(IMO)..

I got the Commercial terrian thingy at last!

Anyway, I think a mall is a great idea, but I really don't mean a grocery store like you find in a one-horse burg, but I mean like a mega-mart with an entertainment section, food clothing; kinda like the Warehouse, but roomier.

I also had a picture of some guy trapped in there so he grabbed all the hunting guns and knives.

I would like to see a mall though.

Ah...The modern day Mall...the Mega(super/wonder/honker) WalMart

Will the Mall/Walmart have any adventages?

We're just brainstorming. I doubt KingArthur will put it in the scenario.

The Mall idea sounds good. It could hold a new resource under it, like "All purpose tape- you can use it forf ANYTHING!", and it could either 1. provide a tempory upgrade to the Mean Machine (e.g. give it the ability to move a square or two at a time- not too fast, because the all-purpose tape has a tendancy to snap!) or 2. Could supply a mega-supply earning wonder that turns usless if the building reaches size 2 (it can't get too crowded- someone could accidently trip over the all-purpose tape and make it snap)

Hope that helps.
