Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

btw, I found the car guy to be useless since he can't move at all, can only be defending I guess, but I like the car really useful, and can run over the sneaky zombies, don't even know it's there but that's cool.. :p
You can "Load" Mike Rush into the car and he can move around that way.

The funniest part is when my tank was killed by the company security :king: man what KIND of gun are they using :)
He's a Spearman in disguise ;)

Cloner4000 said:
is there anyway that I can build tanks and F-15...in paradise city, or can I only build it in command and control?
Only in C&C because that's where the required resource is fixed- it's intentional albeit unfair.

O just wondering, has any one of you EVER encounter a monster zomibe? becuz I never saw one nor the bat. hmmmmm
You're lucky - they come late on in the tech tree so I can only assume you haven't played long enough..

what's the zeb's farm suppose to do? Just another building?
Yup but I may flesh it out later - e.g a farmer character has already been discussed.

O and I read most of the civilpedia text for the tech. It's very well written I really like it. :)
thanks. I really like the new characters pedia entries that come courtesy of Goblin Fanatic - Natasha's is my favourite.

You mean you haven't never seen a monster zombie, then try to play game with company

To upgrade Rush you need to have acces to fuel.
I've found out that units produced at the garage are veterans, is this intentional?

The Garage starts out with a machine shop (which has the same flag attributes as a normal Barracks). The Machine Shop allows the Rushmobile to upgrade (when fuel is available). When you have a building that enables upgrades it also automatically gives you veteran units - there's no way to separate these 2 functions in the Civ engine. I think it still works conceptually
for the scenario without being too unrealistic.

The Authorities had no transport in my game. Is it possible to get units over from Command and Control?

They get custom built rifles then. One way of explaining...

Here's a desc for the general(or was he a major?)
General Edward Fullbright
Gen. Fullbright was given command over the Paradise Island operation, being stubbornly brave he made his way to the thick of action with a motorboat and took charge of the besieged military base.
The reason he was given the assignment was that Fullbright had a reputation of being both a brillant commander and a man that never disobeys orders, whatever the might be.
It's true that his obsession with discipline and drill is regarded as overzealous even by the military and that he believes in brute force above all when commanding. Given that, he was still the best choice cause, while being everything but subtle, this man is still a brilliant leader.
Fullbright never failed an assignement given to him. Never ever.
In the HQ, only a few seasoned officers know about how General many times breached the regulations, endangering civilians, disrespected the humane rights convention, executed soldiers and civilians for disobediance...
At first Fullbright proposed his own plan of action, entitled 'operation sledgehammer' which involved an all-out war with ordnance levelling the city down block by block, but his superiors considered that too much for a small scale(as they thought) riot.
It might not be good news for the average Paradise City citizen, but Gen. Fullbright is gonna do all he has to to stop the undead menace or die trying.

I have an idea, how about making Fullbright a multi-unit with two machine gunners escorting him, firing away at everything he points?
Wouldn't be too hard to paste it together, right?

yeah, I can transport the guy (Mike Rush)but still he can't actively attack a unit right?

Chopper Dave, use a transport, you can built it once you got send it the marines.

Goblin Fanatics, that could be nice, that would explain how he kill zombie by just pointing his hands

yeah, most of my games are at around 150 turns, right now my is at 120, maybe I played at a too easy level (pg)??? I;ll try again then..hehe. But they need zomibe goo right? and I don't think zombie in my game can get it.

I was wondering can a company Black Ops take over my city? because there is one time when it start attacking my city, that is before we got sneaky zombies I think and I build a spunk kid to see it was a black ops but can they overtake my city?

Now playing the game with Zombies (Movie is now 18),20 turns more to Zombiegeddon.I have most of the city, survivors still hold the Tokugawas house with Ms.Tokugawa, authorities have the city hall,Military base and C&C,and Company still has Secret Lab,their HQ and Customer services.Authorities are stirring most of the trouble now with their National Guards and Riot Cops, and the Company is mostly using those terminators

And Cloner,It's civs respawns fault,it's still pretty annoying

yeah, and most of my unit are on the other side of island...that'll take a long time walking there by marines...but the wheel is good for transportation. that's why nukes are better... :p I totally nuke the survivors

I never saw the monster zombie, neither.

If I play with the Zombies, I kill everyone before that.

If I play something else, I get killed before that... thank god? []

He should be able to attack - at least he did when I playtested it. He is immobile but has a move of 1 which means he should be able to attack.

Might be advisable to iron out any probs in the latest update. I'll post the issues so far so you can make a judgement call.

Issues so far:
1. black ops can't paradrop but should be able to.
2. Mike Rush not able to attack?
3. Snake should have radar and (perhaps) see invisible abilities.

4. Keep 'em coming.... I can fix them quicker than you can report them?

Most issues (includ. the ones above) can be fixed by replacing the 1 biq file.

Good luck with your PBEM. I won't join but I'll certainly lurk..

It sucks a bit that when a unit that doesn't detect a sneaky zombie and attacks it it's shown fighting an invisible enemy, probably a civ3 thing but looks silly.
Surely give Snake the radar, yes.
Snake is at the moment a hidden nationality unit, doesn't make sense to me.
that would be all now, i'm playing as the Authorities now.
edit:PBEM is ok, i could certainly post a turn a day i guess.

That's a civ thing - it's unfortunate but I can't do anything about it, except remove sneaky zombies altogether.

The reason for hidden nat. is because he is invisible. If another unit bumps into him accidentally it will start a war. So the hidden nat is there to stop accidental wars. Maybe the Radar and See Invisible flags alone would be enough to give this unit.

At 4am the Day 13th,the Zombies over ran the defending forces of The Secret Lab and destroyed the human presence at Paradise Island.
Dr.Lazar(Before the battle):"It seems that the virus is now good enough to sell,I must inform the Absolute Boss of the Company..."
The last battle was full of gorge, when Blackops and Dr. Lazar at his powersuit tried to defend against the powerful Zombie army, first fell the Blackop team and after many casualties for the zombies,Dr. Lazar was ejected from his powersuit and he was contaminated to the zombie virus as the last human on Paradise city.

When the zombies ejected the doc from the suit he said: "Get off me you stupid zombies,"and he took a beretta from his labcoat and shot some zombies, but there was too many of them.He then tried to make a suicide, but there wasn't no bullets anymore in the clip.Zombies overran him and started biting him and he screamed like a little girl. The battle had now ended with a high prize.
But the Company's evil deeds at Paradise Island ended where they started....

Here's a screenie from the game:
