Escape From Zombie Island 2 ready for public consumption

No I'd been running around that area for a while ... It's still happening now :confused:

It seems that the first level of barricading acts as a default.


Another thing ... could someone post a screenie of the Mini Map which shows ALL the faction colours ... I want to see just how stuffed my graphics card is :)

I was just playing the old version of the game (it's all I've got, and it still rocks) as the Authorities. Over-all things went very well, but there was one particularly interesting incident.

The USS Romero was circumnavigating the island. It moved close to Zeb's Farm to check out what those anarchists were up to (I was already at war with them due to a MPP with the Survivors). Well, they were up to no good! They catapulted exploding sheep at the Romero and sent her to the bottom! :eek:

I was so confident my modern cruisers were safe, that they could scout and bombard with impunity. Those sheep taught me a lesson.
 
That's funny bkwrm79 - in the new version there's even more for cruisers to be worried about. I'm not sure we need many more testers at this stage. Best to just hang tight for the release.
 
No, it's an outpost still, radar only comes after Marines..for authorities

don't think others can build them

by the way, when is the next update, I was wondering if I should start another game as the survivor..it seems that since authorities has gone thourgh any updates yet there wasn't any use to playtest them

and I was wondering for hell why I could build attack helicopter as company and check the map editor, the attack helicopter was only buildable by the authorities
 
Virote - I haven't forgotten about you. I'm just waiting for a few things to be finished off and then I'll upload it.
 
Only Authorities can build radar towers that's right Cloner.

And the new update will be very soon. I'll probably just upload all the files again and that way Virote can catch up with all the changes.

Urgh, Attack Copters should only be buildable by the Company. Good spot and it will changed.

I have noted the Sounds wanted and will get to them as soon as possible.
The "Motorized Guerilla" (Mean Machine) does have a Death Flc.

The Fortress and Barricade show as those normally would in any game. This is by default when out of sight.

Yes, Entries need to be kept within the one page space allowed for them.

King Arthur and I are adjusting all Factions so all will be updated for testing. There would be no real point to only adjusting one and trying to play because all Factions have an affect on all others...especially the Zombies. The method being used is to first adjust the Survivors and Zombies...then each other Faction will be adjusted. After all are adjusted, IF the Zombies or any faction needs slight changes, that will complete it. All factions will have some ability to Kill the Zombies but the main Different Wins for the Survivors and Company will be focused on. The game will be tested by King Arthur and me before uploading all for you testers in order that we know the specifics. We will be better able to make decisions concerning any suggestions and changes then.

Sorry I'm not sure what you are saying ... the images I posted are then normal :confused:

Just seems strange that while the tile is in shadow that a defensive structure is shown BUT the wrong type ???

Can anyone else confirm that it is the current game
... very easy to test, build Fortress and then upgrade to Barricade away (out of sight) from other units and buildings. Then move your Engineer away until the structure is on the limit of the unit's line of sight.

.. perhaps I will have to delete and reinstall the game. :(

The Test Lab ... Where it all begins.

"Sir, this is from a security tape that we managed to find. It is poor quality and no sound."

A genetics laboratory, pristine and clean with 3 white smocked men diligently engaged in research. Suddenly the scientists are startled and stare uncomprehendingly at the door. One man picks up the phone and begins to press buttons, he hangs up and repeats the process. Again and again, each time more frantic than the last a look of fear etched on his face. The door has started to visibly shudder as if being struck by a heavy object. In frustration the phone is thrown across the room. The others are flapping around, looking for escape. The door starts buckling and those in the room began to panic, backing away as far as possible from the straining door. It finally caves in and a number of dirty figures swarm into the room, their clothing stained and torn. One man picks up a stool while the others cower behind the bulk of an air scrubber. All too soon the men fall beneath a mass of feral bodies ... the screen dissolves into static ...

The assembled men try not to make eye contact with the Director. "Gentlemen, can anyone please explain how this happened? And how the backup system, which cost a fortune also failed ?!!"

"Well Sir, it was off line for a routine check, it is being investigated."

"Too late! Chief what is your take?"

"Well Sir, apparently a tech team was sent about 4 hours ago. I was made aware of the situation when they failed to call in and then sent a security squad to investigate. They reported that the place was a shambles and open, they neutralised some of the infected and managed to send that footage before we lost contact with them 23 minutes ago. All of our facilities are in lockdown. We also have had reports that virus in now spreading fast and I'm sure that the island will soon be placed in quarantine."

"Well Gentleman it seems that we have a situation ... and we must insure that neither the Company nor our research is connected with this ... ummm ... unfortunate accident."

fe3333au... Yes, what you are seeing is the same in all CIV Games. Try it in a Normal Civ Game if you need to test it. The Game Only reveals the actual structure when not in shadow and can be seen clearly. Think of it as uncertainty lol. It probably "bugs" some people but it is Not a Bug.

Her attack sound is only activated ONCE, which is her initial shot ... the rest is silent maybe have Gatling Gal as secondary attack sound ???

Yes you're right it sounds like a missing entry in the INI file - I'll check it out.
 
6am, Day 14 ... Built Rescue Helicopter and was expecting to fly to mainland. :D

:confused: Only have Airdrop and Recon missions :(

... will now take Nuke Plant to see if that helps.

Strange ... I have a Biker Gal named Hero Hannibal Smith ???? ... in fact they ALL are !!! :lol:
 
Contaminated Beach doesn't look any differenet than the Beach near the Airport :(

I don't hear an Engineer fortify sound ... and their is no animation.


It is 8am, Day 15 ... I have many units running around (for days now in game turns) on the mainland and positioned one at the TV Station ... But it doesn't indicate that I've won :confused:
