European Middle Ages Mod Resurrection

Thank you Broken Hawk for the fortresses, and yes, the Cyprus names are great to have. Craig, thanks again for the city list. I've mostly been working on the new map this week, and it's coming along fine. It will be 80 by 64 and follow almost the exact shape of the other map. I'm actually using the other map as my guide as I make this new one. The new map will include, along with the other civs, Lithuania and Arabia. I'm thinking about releasing just the map so you guys can play around with it while I get the rest of 0.45 done.

In addition to the fortresses, why not have important Crusader cities? A possile list from the top of my head could be:
Jerusalem
Antioch
Edessa
Tripoli
Acre
Jaffa
Limmassol (sp)
Nicosia
Famagusta

Just a quick question, why are there jungles in Europe? Or are these meant to represent marshes? If so, you should check our Rhye's mod, he has a new terrain for marshes.

Those are meant to be marshes and I'm working on adding in new graphics for them. Hopefully I'll be done with the new, large map by tommorrow or Monday. In the meantime, here's a picture of it so far, and to compare I have a picture of the current map. The new map is 80 by 64 and has approximately double the squares of the original map.

And I do still plan on changing many things, especially Greece.

There is already a marsh graphic in Rhye's mod.

I copied and pasted the sounds folder and put it into the mods>Medieval Europe>Assets folder and no music is playing.

What should I do?

@Head Serf

Are you familiar with The Ancient Mediterranean (TAM) MOD? There are a number of maps with it that might be useful with this MOD.

I'll have the Crusader Fortresses formated ASAP.

I am familiar with TAM, I like it but if often times seems to complex, with promotions coming in with a combination of tech, resource, and building, and overall I find it too difficult to play casually. I've looked at some of their maps, but unfortuanately almost all of them don't contain Scandinavia, Scotland, and Russia, which are all important to this mod.

Craig Sutter: Yes, that is how my folders are stup up. And inside the soundtrack folder there is an early, middle, and a late folder.

the mod wont run on my computer. it tells me that you made a big no-no on the civilizationinfos.xml, causing it so seem blank (like <Civ4Infos><Civ4Infos> rather than </Civ4Infos). hasn't this happened to anyone else?

Are you using Warlords? The mod is for Vanilla 1.61 only, it runs fine on my computer.

nope I got vanilla. with all them patches. here the glitches look like this:

The game text infos no-no:

the game text infos_cities no-no:

And empty tag error:

AND the #1 problem with the mod is: (drumroll please)
THE CIVILIZATION INFOS NO-NO!

Hmm, works fine on my computer, the only thing is that your computer is a Macintosh, and mods that have a CivGameCore.DLL don't work on Macintosh for some reason. I could be wrong, have you tried downloading again?
