It should be noted that she openly admitted she did that, and doesn't feel particularly ashamed for it. Which I think is a very cool reaction.

Why would she be ashamed? If people are angry or disgust by that (the movie I mean), then I'm ashamed to live in this world...

When I saw a preview of her song during one of the semifinals I thought she should win! A preview was enough to see that her song was the only decent enough in the whole show.

i think its because it was bad and got loads of votes, the uk entry was arguably worse but didnt get booed because even our friends who usually vote for us, just didnt, was expecting we would give cyprus quite a few points like 8 or 10 was surprised we didnt

Good point... Though I wouldn't say loads of votes, didn't make in top 10 if I remember correctly (loads compared to UK ). Worth of mentioning that not every "friend" gave lots of points to Russia though, but it is inevitable after all, so they should either change the voting system (as I offered to invite Japanese and Chinese to vote for us silly Europeans ) or get used to it, seriously booing was ridiculous.
Though what do I care, Finland didn't even make it to the final.
Seriously though how do they manage to send such ? I mean I know UK got some very good music, I'm sure every country got some good music yet they send year after year. Anyone knows? Something with the rules saying only that reasonable person wouldn't listen is allowed?

It's amazing how they are going to change the rules to fit their needs, isn't it? They start discussing changes for 2011 now, just to please their winner? Freaky!

Responsible broadcaster and singing contest host Stephan Raab told us, they will change their course of action in 2011 and will not search for a new singer by contest. Does anyone else think it's time that Wales and Scotland made seperate entries to the Eurovision? I mean come on, fair's fair, decentralisation is the way things are going isn't it? bla bla bla.

While we're at it, the Isle of Man isn't technically a part of the UK. Neither as it happens are the Channel Islands...

You forgot Gibraltar.

In that case, there are a few Norwegian posessions in Europe, I think should be allowed to vote, like Jan mayen(pop 25) and Svalbard. Svalbard has 2500 people, but many of them are Russians, so that might backfire...
