even more clues you play civ3 too much...

You start placing bets as to how long it will take this thread to reach clue 5000.
You read above clue and say, "5,000?" Because you are placing bets on 10,000 or <insert higher number divisible by 1,000 here>.

You tell more Civilization stories to your friends than barroom stories and party stories combined. (Guilty--I really need to get a life.)

You argue w/ your employer to open the Civ Fanatics link after they block it because you've had it open and active 24/7 since you took the job.

You settle the arguement with a multiplayer civ3 battle.
Obviously, you win, because your employer has never played the game before.

You make a bet with him that you will win. If you win you are allowed to play civ for as long as you want every day at work. If you loose he gets to keep your complete version because he only bought vanilla, he didn't know the difference.

You discover that he has been playing civ last night, because he has a few more units and cities than you do.

You declare war on him and discover that he has nukes while your not even out of the industrial age.

You ask him what he was doing last night (You know he has been playing too much civ).

He gives you a blank face and replies "working".

You know that is not true because he is playing like an expert.

You try as hard as you can to defend his wave after wave of Modern Armors and nukes but after 195 hours of non-stop playing civ (You and Him) he finally wins. So you have to buy another complete disk because the deal was if you lose he gets your complete disk.

You have a  and leave. You have missed your opportunity to never work again and play civ all day while at work.

He is now a civ addict, so he complies.

(this just happened today) You're the only person in the room who can define imperialism... and you state it in civ3 terms(cities overseas to gather luxuries or strategic resources)

People applaud you for actually being right, but then you talk about how you learned that from civ3.

Which means you get your original wish of being able to play civ3 at work anyway.
You use a computer program to play for you sometimes while you play another game on your own computer.

you play sid(the person) in multiplayer and win. So now he has to be your personal advisor of how to take over the world.
