Events (only those already in existence)

Here is an "Extra Standard Animal Spawning" i need you to look at for python etc. thx.

This event will break the "ecology" method we use with animal spawns as it may put an animal type on the map where it should not occur eg Tigers should not spawn in the deserts of the Americas.

It may be better to have this event place a lair on the map and have a Spawn method for the lair that has a high spawn rate for animals. That way the correct animal(s) will spawn in the correct environment. It also means that until you destroy the lair more animals will spawn. I am sure that will mean that some people will create a "nature reserve" around he lair so the get a steady stream of animals to hunt.
 
In my last game, I received an event early in the Prehistoric era that gave me about a one-time +6 :science: as one option, or gave a permanent +1 :science: to, I think, the Knowledge inheritance if you had researched Tribalism. IIRC, the description said a tribal elder had an insight about the new developing reality - sorry I can't be more specific, I'm going off of memory. My point is that the two options aren't really balanced - if you haven't research Tribalism, you have to take option A, and if you have researched Tribalism, you will always take option B. In other words, there is no real choice.

I'd suggest changing the options so that the player has to make a choice between a short-term benefit on the one hand, and a long-term benefit that comes with a short-term negative on the other hand. For example, option A still gives a small bonus to the current tech being research. Option B, meanwhile, would give the permanent +1 :science: to Knowledge Inheritance, but would also give, perhaps, one turn of disorder in the capital. That way, the player has to balance the options and make a difficult choice, which is what events should do.
 
I had a look at your Event folder and some things seems "strange" to me. Could you please comment on them?

1) Best Hunter: Obsolete at Microlith? -> Should be Achery or Sed Lifestyle.

2) Civil War: Is disabled.

3) Clay: Only +1 :hammers: on a plot? -> Should add Fine Clay Resource!

4) Knowledge Inharitance: Why is Softhammer-Percussion required and not Oral Tradition (or more precisely: the building Knowledge Inharitance)?
5)Also, I think it would be good to add a "<iTechMinTurnsLeft>0</iTechMinTurnsLeft>" of 5.

6)Peat: There is a feature called Peat Bog. Maybe we should add this on the plot aswell?

Unfortune Assassian: Why is prereq Meditation? Also, only Event_1 is coded so far. But why?
 
All i did was copy and paste alot, so if you want, have at it and change what you want ok. All the events were taken from other mods, as well as you can do also, just copy and paste alot of them to C2C, then make changes like you just thought of here, thx.

I also had a look at Ori's events and I think his iWight is quite low. Or maybe your were quite high :crazyeye: I try to adjust them as well. Is Ori still around? I haven't heard from him for a long time.

I'll look at the standart BtS events this evening.
