Are there any cultural/ethnic/age-specific events such as Liberal or Conservative revolutions, Women's lib, mass immigration, genocide, etc.? If not, could someone kindly guide me somewhere I could find some? Thanks!

No, but those are all great ideas for some. It isn't hard to make dynamic events, everything is in the XML.

On the topic of events, could someone please add a buyoff option for the Earthquake and Hurricane events. It is annoying to lose a Skyscraper or two Towns and only have a "Send condolences to the survivors" option when I have been stockpiling gold to negate bad events. The same goes for the other events which only have a "Oh no, that's horrible" option.
