So I am in 1880ad playing custom game French on noble with 13 or 14 other civs. I am like third or fourth in score but I am only two hundred or so points behind the leader (bismark) and so we are all kind of close. I just finished my war with the celts and cleaned em out, taking most of the continent (which I also share with Persia). Then Isabella who is like second or third and her vassal Stalin declares war on me for no good reason (she was cautious before). Shes on another continent but she sends a massive invading party which i manage to take care of (after some significant losses).
But then a couple turns later every single civ in the game declares war on me. Even my friends (civs who are 'pleased') declare war. This all happens in one turn for no apparent reason whatsoever. This is a game ender for me. I am further ahead in research than the other civs but that can't be why. The only other issue that I noticed was that The apostolic palace was built by bismark a long time ago and I just noticed that I'm not listed as a voting member or anything, while all the other civs are. I have not participated in anything with the apostolic palace (this is my first bts game) so I am not sure why that is either. If it works like the united nations I should have gotten a dialog box a long time ago asking me to vote?? could it be they all voted to declare war on me or something? and how come I can't vote or anything. but like i said i'm not sure this is the cause.
Anyone experience anything like this before. it is very disapointing because it was the most fun I had been having playing civ to date.
